Restaurants near Portland Art Museum

The food was well prepared and tasty. We just had soup and a burger but they were shareable portions. The server took a while to take our order but after that service was timely.

Celebrated my daughters birthday. Food and service were both excellent. Would definitely go again.

Higgins is THE place to go for excellent, fresh, creative food in downtown Portland. One feels welcomed, cared for and deliciously-fed while being elegant or casual, it matters not. An institution continues to thrive, thank goodness. One can patronize the bar or the dining room, whatever your pleasure. BTW, the wait staff is truly excellent and caring.

My husband and I enjoyed an evening meal together. We shared the Filet & shrimp and it was delicious. The pomegranate martini was amazing.

I wasn’t really impressed with the seating because I had specifically requested a more intimate setting for my partner and I as we were celebrating our birthdays and we felt like we were right in the middle of other parties both to our left and right and behind. So bummed out they didn’t take that booking information into consideration otherwise everything else was great.
