    Best prime rib ever served by Micheal, our waiter, who gave us a little bit of a history lesson on this fantastic restaurant. Outstanding service on every level, beautiful atmosphere and a magical dessert with a candle in it for my nephews 14th birthday - highly recommend this place.

    This is a wonderful restaurant, rated by the LA Times as one of the 101 best in Los Angeles, and the rating is well deserved. The wait staff and servers are well trained and professional, and friendly and helpful, there are many food choices (everything we ordered was delicious), and the place where we were seated in the dining area was comfortable and beautiful. Blessedly, the restaurant does not think it needs to play music loudly to create "atmosphere". We were there for my wife's birthday and Republique is an excellent choice for a special occasion or just because one is in the mood for a delicious meal in an outstanding setting.
