    Indeed the best Japanese fusion restaurant in town. We like all what we ordered. the calamari is exceptional, the coating is very light and yet crunchy. The Miku roll is delight, sable fish is wonderful. Will return for the Kaiseki for my daughter’s birthday.

    Amazing experience all around. Absolutely perfect front of house staff, who greeted us and wished my wife a happy birthday. They had read our reservation notes and seated us at an excellent table. The wait staff were all perfect and so attentive and friendly. Food is a 10/10 and so is the decor and ambience. It’s so hard (at any price point) to find a perfect restaurant anywhere, but this is it!

    One of the best, if not THE BEST, culinary experience of our lives for each one of us in our party of four! Three of us were in from the States to visit a friend and explore Vancouver! We’re so glad our friend suggested JOEY Shipyards!!! Our meals were PERFECTION, and the service top-notch through Ethan, our server. To manager Nolan, and to the chef - THANKS SO MUCH!!!

    From the moment we arrived, we were greeted in a professional and friendly manner and then promptly shown to our table. Our server, Jade, came and introduced herself and offered to take our drink order. Our meals came flawlessly prepared, hot and very appetizing. Jade was attentive and addressed our needs throughout our lunch. The manager, Alex, came by to check on our experience. It is truly understandable why this is rated one of the best restaurants in North America!! A complete 5 star experience!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

    Our air bnb host recommended this place. We reserved the following day and got in okay. The food and service was incredible. We recommend the duck and salad as well as the soft shell crab. Will definitely return if we visit the area again.
