We are a unique French Bistro located in a vintage two story blue house. We have two outdoor pergolas with a firepit and scenic backyard, and a full bar inside. It is a charming, cozy, intimate location, and we cater to nice casual clients. We are located in Independence, MO on HWY 24 just west of the 291 intersection and just minutes from downtown and The Truman House and Library. Free parking is available. Handicap accessible. We serve brunch Tues-Sun from 10am-3 pm. We are closed on Mondays. We have take-out service for some items now during brunch hours or you can "Picnic on the Patio" outside. Our full-service bar, the Bleu Bar, is open during all open hours as well. Dinner is served Friday and Saturday nights now from 6-9pm. Reservations are required for dinner service. There is a dress code for dinner also. No shorts or jeans. Shirts are required. No flip flops. No smoking is allowed inside the restaurant. Finally, pets are not allowed inside the restaurant.

    We had the most incredible experience at Lazia! The food was absolutely impeccable, every dish exceeded our expectations, and the service made the entire evening even more special. We were there celebrating both of our birthdays and enjoying one last amazing dinner before welcoming our baby boy, and the entire experience felt so thoughtful and memorable. A special thank you to the staff for going above and beyond to make us feel celebrated. I especially appreciated the thoughtful gesture of bringing me a non-alcoholic wine so I could still be part of the celebratory toast while my fiancé enjoyed a glass of champagne. It was such a sweet touch that truly didn’t go unnoticed. Thank you for making such a meaningful evening even more beautiful. From the food to the hospitality, everything was exceptional. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we will absolutely remember this dinner for years to come. We can’t wait to come back! ❤️

    This was honestly one of the (of not the best) best meals I have ever had. The prime rib was AMAZING!!!!! and the “perfect potato’s” we’re quit literally the best mashed potatoes I have ever eaten.
