Restaurants near Laurelhurst Park

It's been over forty years since we had been to this mainstay in Portland dining, and it did not disappoint! Not to be missed? The onion rings, of course! And, while we did not order the wedge salad, I certainly will the next time. The top sirloin - baseball cut - was terrific, and I've never met a potato I didn't like. I did bring half of each of them home to enjoy for lunch the next day, but that's half the fun of too much food! Our waiter was excellent, the cocktails (house Manhattan) and wine were too. The hallmark of a good steakhouse, I believe, is there should be a quiet, clubby vibe - and the Ringside fulfills this to a tee. I can't wait to go back (and, I'm NOT waiting another 40-years!

Thank Jordan-I made anniversary reservations as we love to sit at the bar. Great people in there😎and thank you again. We walked up to our favorite seats seeing small bouquet of flowers, so kind! It’s not just because they have outstanding service, hands down the hanger steak is the best we’ve ever had. Great flavor and no knife needed, so tender. Harvest salad with pickled vegetables is tremendous and we probably have it 7-8 times always with seasonal variations. Thank you all for your service, kindness and just being you because you all are amazing.

our waitress was amazing! we had never been here before and the place was very cute, was just a little thrown off by some yelling nearby haha! but that’s portland for you. food was very good, and i loved the pizza scissors. :)

Visiting my daughter in Portland and she insisted that we needed to eat here. We were definitely not disappointed. The food was delicious and definitely worthy of a follow up visit. The portions are hefty and priced right. It was amazing how quickly the restaurant filled up. Delicious food, old diner ambiance, and great/attentive service.
