Restaurants near Jade Mountain Motel

The hosts were well decked out, smiling and welcoming. We were happy from the moment we arrived. There was a good wine selection and we chose the Summerhill Sparkling as it paired well with our entire meal. Plus we haven't been to Summerhill for a number of years now so it was a treat to remember old times. The beef was cooked exactly the way my brother perfected many years ago - a relatively inexpensive cut, cooked, and cooked some more, to the point of being tender and tasty - and a huge portion. My wife, who is celiac, enjoyed the gluten free chicken dish. Our server had served us many years before and it was a delight to see her again.

This is a fabulous restaurant. Probably the closest we have to a Napa style local food to table restaurant. Started with some amazing scallops and I had the beef cheeks and my husband had the carbonara with prawns. Both amazing. The architecture of the restaurant is so conducive to its setting. Really great service and last but not least, good wine.

A very pleasant experience at Sun Peaks, small dining room keeps things intimate and the food itself is outstanding and and very original. Everything from raw to cooked on the menu has things for every taste and occasion. Sushi was outstanding. Service was prompt but not overbearing so had a good ballance. definitely going back to experience more on the menu.
