Restaurants near Frank Lloyd Wright's Robie House

My wife and I visited Chicago recently. Decided to give Virtue a shot. We are southern (Atlanta), so a high VMware for southern cuisine. Let me say, they nailed it. Delicious biscuits and short ribs. Wife had the cauliflower, which was delicious. Fantastic experience. The South would be proud.

Omg omg omg, the food was amazing :). The service we received from Paris our waitress was excellent. She recommended everything from the Rib eye cowboy steak 10/10 the seasoning was to perfection with no steak sauce needed. The lamb chops 10/10 garlic mash and asparagus 10/10. The drinks 10/10, oops forgot the name of the drink. Then to live band, professional photographer and staff all my my date night 10/10. Only problem, they closed on Fridays so don't make a reservation on Friday.

Carlos was an amazing server. He took care of us from the time we walked in until the time we left. He’s very nice and professional. The food and drinks was also amazing. Can’t wait to visit again.

When my daughter arrived at the time of our reservation, we were seated immediately. The waiter immediately came to our table. He made us feel at home. He quickly came back to our table to get our order. Our order was brought to the table in a decent amount of time. Our food was hot and the lamb chops was flavorful and tender. I will recommend this black owned restaurant even though it is in Hyde Park and the parking was a little difficult to find. I believe that it's worth the parking hassle.

We all had great time at Dawn Eatery, all of our foods were delicious. Service was prompt, dining area was clean, pristine. Parking was NOT an issue, was able to park in the garage nearby. Plan to make Dawn Eatery your next eating place, you will enjoy and savor their delicious meals.
