Restaurants near Four Seasons Holiday Cottages

The quality of service was outstanding with beautiful surroundings. The food was delicious and well presented.

The ‘bonafides’ of a restaurant is established by how well, efficiently, the staff deal with guests who believe they have had a disappointing experience. So it was when asked how I found the main course expecting an “oh well…we’re sorry to hear that” and do nothing response. I could not have been more wrong nor surprised with the way Sonia provided an immediate solution without being prompted, rectifying what may well have resulted in an unsatisfactory dining experience. In addition to Sonia and the other Landscape Restaurant staff’s attention, the ambiance created within the Heritage listed building, artwork, diffused lighting, carpeted floors and well spaced tables created an immersive dining experience. An ‘old school’ dining experience deserved of its reputation as being one of Hobart’s very best fine dining venues!

I made a booking for my husband and I online for dinner. I then called the restaurant and mentioned I'm a carnivore. I adked about having my steak cooked without any oils, and instead cooked or served with only salt, and some butter on the side. The steak I ordered was the nicest steak I think I've ever eaten! In fact it was so good that I ordered a second one to enjoy! It was perfectly rare in the middle and so juicy. As I pushed down onto the steak with my fork, it felt like I was pushing into a pillow :) Amazing food, awesome staff and a fantastic night!! Oh, and the young lady that greeted us said she had never heard of carnivore, so she googled it so she could learn about it before we arrived. How good is that!! Thank you :)

A surprisingly delicious dinner, lots of native flavours and unexpected combinations that worked so well. We came for the view and left amazed at the quality of the food, highly recommended

We were a group of 4 women, 3 from Victoria here for the Melbourne Cup long weekend. We went to Frogmore for lunch the previous day which was a wonderful experience. We understood Bangor would be different. We loved our lunch, the whole experience; the staff were fantastic, the ambiance very pleasant and the food was delicious and portions very generous. We ordered mains each and 2 sides and a dessert to share. We couldn’t finish it! Our only comment was that perhaps in the combination of dishes we ordered, there were perhaps a too many elements. This was most evident in the green salad and the baked potatoes with the fish main. Thanks for a lovely experience. We’ll be back.
