La Masseria Restaurant is inspired from ancient fortified farmhouses that in the Puglia Region of Italy are called “Masseria”. Executive Chef/Co-Owner, Pino Coladonato, grew up on a Farm in Puglia. He was forced to eat whatever was available but soon was tired of bean puree and decided to take matters into his own hands, creating new ways to use the same few ingredients. Now, with limitless ingredients to choose from, fava beans, chickpeas and lentils are still a core element in many of his entrees. Interior Designer Libby Langdon has created a warm, inviting dining atmosphere. Rustic and relaxed, with plenty of old world charm. Oversize iron sconces custom made from antique wrought iron gates punctuate the walls, and artful displays of antique farm tools mixed with various authentic Italian photographs all add to the farmhouse appeal. The 250-bottle wine list encompasses all regions of Italy with few of the best American and the rest of the world.

From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere and the elegant French decor. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and charming. He took the time to explain the menu, made excellent wine recommendations, and ensured that our glasses were always full. The service was top-notch, with a perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism. We started with the stake tartar topped with caramelized onions and olives, it was delicious. For my main course, I opted for the dry aged steak, which was cooked to perfection and smothered in a rich truffle butter. The wine list is extensive and well-curated, the server was very knowledgeable and i started with a bourdeax with the tartar and a wonderful cabernet for the steak. La grande broucherie is a must-visit for anyone who loves french food and a perfect steak. With its elegant atmosphere, exceptional service, and outstanding cuisine, it's a true standout in the city's dining scene.

Staff was extremely friendly and professional. Treated us like longtime friends. Had drinks and appetizers at the bar, while waiting for our table. Dinner was excellent, had shrimp scampi (best I’ve ever had) and sautéed broccoli…not a fan of broccoli, but enjoyed this one. Definitely recommend Carmine’s, after a show or meeting friends/family.

We had an early dinner at 4:30 pm on a Thursday. We were seated right away, prior to our reservation. The service was excellent, the food was plentiful and delicious. We really appreciated that they had dairy free and meat free, plant-based options. We had no worries that we would be able to get to our Broadway show on time.
