The Dragonfly is the best cocktail and drinks venue in Edinburgh. We love being there. Staff are knowledgeable and fun. Cocktails superb, and venue funky and private. Very sad that currently no music allowed, as it’s usually great. And you can hear your friends speak!
The Star Sea Chinese Restaurant is located close to Edinburgh Castle on Lady Morrison Street and if you're outside of the city centre, is easily accessible by bus or taxi. The restaurant is open for lunch between 12 and 2pm and for dinner from 5 to 11pm. Food is reasonably priced at the Star Sea,...
Ideally located where Edinburgh’s historical Old Town merges with the cultural hub of the West End, Fusion Gourmet is one of the city’s most heavily patronised Chinese restaurants. Don’t be misled by the restaurant’s name – Fusion Gourmet has a rightly deserved reputation for authentic Chinese...
The Fiddler’s Arms is a friendly pub serving classic British food, located at 11-13 Grassmarket in Edinburgh's bustling Old Town. It is a little over 5 minutes from Waverley Station by car or taxi and virtually stands in the shadow of Edinburgh Castle. The old world charm of the gastropub is...
Timberyard Restaurant is an award winning, chic and British restaurant in Edinburgh's Old Town that serves conventional and modern dishes. Located on the cobble-stoned Lady Lawson Street at number 10, the restaurant can be found within a 15 minute walk of Edinburgh Waverley. The Timberyard...
Great service, beer and food. Very diligent with following Covid safety guidelines as well. Would always recommend as a great spot in the centre of Edinburgh!

And trust us – it doesn’t get much fresher than brewing our own beer on site in our Microbrewery. Enjoy Cold Town Beer, a pint born and brewed in Edinburgh, and even treat yourself...
We were a party of six, eating before the theatre. Experience was excellent: lively but not too noisy, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable service, good range of dishes at a variety of prices, authentically Italian (so far as I can judge). Very enjoyable meal.
