- DDawnvipSan Diego •6 reviews5.0Dined todayWe just keep coming back to Valentina. The food is always excellent. The choices are really interesting and ever changing. The service is great. It’s very loud in the main dining area, but that seems to be common these days at nicer restaurants. The wine list is extensive and the spritz is lovely, but I would definitely welcome additional cocktail choices if they are looking to make changes.More infoValentinaPrice: Moderate• Contemporary European• Encinitas•4.7
- RRhondavipDenver / Colorado •68 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a wonderful evening. We were seated at our window table just in time to see the sunset! For an old couple from Colorado this was a very beautiful thing. Our server, Cheri was delightful and was never intrusive but always attentive. The food was excellent and well prepared. Overall a great evening.More infoPacific Coast Grill - CardiffPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Cardiff By The Sea•4.8
- JJ LindsayvipSan Diego •79 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe moved to the area about a year ago and, especially over the summer, we have eaten here fairly often. It's consistently excellent: good food, good service, and not too expensive (though certainly not cheap). Last night, we dined early. Being winter (or what passes for it, in SoCal), it was getting dark outside. And that brings me to the point: the lights inside the restaurant are so dim that it weas very difficult to read the menus. We were not the only ones - many people used their phones (or the candles on the table) so help them. And one of the pleasures of eating in a good restaurant is visual: the decor, how the food is plated, and the food's quality. It was far too dark to appreciate any of those things. We hadn't experienced this before, before it was always bright daylight when we ate. So, to the management - PLEASE increase the lighting a shade (pun intended) when it's dark outside.More infoHerb & SeaPrice: Moderate• Californian• Encinitas•4.6

- MMicheleSan Diego •2 reviews5.0Dined on 24 Nov 2024This is one of my favorite spots in North County. They were experiencing some issues with over booking, and they more than made up for the inconvenience. Their staff and customer service are top notch! The new menu was amazing too!! Plus they always have great music.More infoSAGOPrice: Expensive• Asian• Encinitas•4.3
