- MMikeWashington, D.C. Area •6 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI ate at La Tavola last night and used one of my "Double Your Summer" gift cards. My wife had the Shrimp and Burrata Risotto and I had the Saltimbocca. Both were awesome - flavor and presentation. We also had the Calamari, which was served with roasted fingerling potatoes and some veggies in a light cream sauce. Also delicious. We get the Calamari every time and it is always a different preparation, but never disappoints. Service is always great. last night was no exception.More infoLa Tavola TrattoriaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Virginia Highland•4.8

We enjoyed the brisket (I’m a Texan and always skeptical of brisket made outside of the former Republic). It’s an inch thick which is raises that skepticism to a Northern state latitude. However, it’s tender and cooked through. The bark and meat flavor is delicious. Highly recommend. The trout was perfect as well. Love the mustardy sauce and the whole fried okra. Cannot fail with the scallops. The staff was attentive, professional, and kind. I could say more but I think I’ve said enough.More infoTWO urban licksPrice: Expensive• American• Poncey-Highland•4.6
- AAdriaGreater Boston •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had a gorgeous night to come together as 5 business colleagues. Our waiter was helpful but playful. We enjoyed happy hour drinks and appetizers before ordering dinner. I was disappointed that the lemon salmon with coconut rice was actually really spicy. It was delicious, but I don't digest certain spicy foods well and would have steered clear of this. The charred chicken was also unexpectedly spicy. Other than that, we had a lovely experience!More info9 Mile StationPrice: Moderate• American• Midtown•4.5

The food was excellent. The service was impeccable. The atmosphere is great. It’s got a rustic home field to it/wine bar/wine cellar, upbeat, smooth vibe with the food matchMore infoMurphy'sPrice: Moderate• American• Virginia Highland•4.7
