Another great day at Bootleg Brewery yesterday, and the second visit since the new owners have taken over. Was not as busy as we expected but that is a good thing. Drinks and food was excellent as expected, large servings and very fresh. We had the garlic bread entree and the size of the serving was large, could have fed 3-4 people. My wife had the Raging Bull beef pie and I had the Steak Sanga. Both very well cooked and presented as expected. Will be back again as Bootleg is now back to being a “must visit” when we are down south.

The food exceeded our expectations (which were already fairly high, considering the current reviews). We had the scotch fillet with chips, mushroom sauce and Homemade Jus, octopus with a potato chowder and Cesar salad, all full of flavour and cooked perfectly! The waiter was friendly, attentive and accommodating. Couldn't fault it, I will definitely recommend it to people visiting the area.

We really enjoyed sitting out on the terrace enjoying our 4 course tasting menu and sampling some outstanding wines. Truly memorable.
