Great ambience, re did menu and I loved the choices.... would recommend highly!
We had dinner with a large group. Our waiter, Patrick, was outstanding. My guests really enjoyed their food. Help with the wine list was much appreciated.
This place is very home like.. the staff was excellent and the place was very clean. Loved the restroom, and all of the decorations. I will definitely be going back.
On a par with some of the finest restaurants in the world in which we dined. The Decour, food and service all fit together perfectly.
Outstanding food and ambiance. Best restaurant in CNY.
Was not expecting Sunday Brunch that was a pleasant surprise. The place was very elegant, the waiter was amazingly personable, and the food was fantastic! Cannot wait to go again next visit to the area
Our party of 8 plus a toddler went there for brunch and could not have had a better experience! Very friendly and absolutely professional staff. The food and drinks outstanding! We are definitely looking forward to trying this fabulous restaurant again for dinner next tome. You will not be disappointed.
We enjoyed another delightful brunch at the Krebs on Sunday, September 1. As usual, the service was extraordinary, the venue delightful and the cuisine both artful and delicious. We had the shrimp and grits -- the real thing, stone ground grits! - tender shrimp and artfully seasoned, along with eggs benedict with Maryland lump crab meat -- an exceptional variant of a traditional favorite that featured more crabmeat than the volume of the toasted bread base. Another superb brunch experience at our local gem, the Krebs 1899!
We went for our anniversary and had a wonderful night. Right from the greeting by the staff to the phenomenal meal. Tge servixe was the best i have had and the food was perfect. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great meal service in a beautiful restaurant.
Service and the food was incredible. Couldn't ask for any better.
Gorgeous as always. Service very very slow. Food mediocre. Redone menu was good. Service somewhat Inexperienced. We went to sit on porch and there were teo parties already taking up spots. Need more seating. Service was ridiculously slow.
Krebs is a beautiful restaurant. The wine list was extensive, food delicious and the service outstanding.
The ribeye steak had a bit more gristle than I would’ve anticipated. The wine list was disappointing, given the location of the restaurant—would’ve loved to see any local options.
The place to enjoy brunch in central New York! Brooke and Trevor were very attentive to us and provided exceptional service. I was able to have a vegetarian version of the Eggs Benedict that was worthy of having again. You have to try the pecan coffee-creamy and delicious with just the right amount of spice. We will be back.
Celebrated our wedding anniversary there, nice atmosphere, service and food was outstanding, will go there again
Best dining experience in Skaneateles, and ranks with anyplace we've been, anywhere.
Really fabulous dinner in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend!
It was just perfect and we had a wonderful waitress named Hope who mad us feel so special. She really knew the menu and suggested the best wine. Everything was perfect!
Service was very professional
The Krebs is usually one of my favorite restaurants to dine in, and that hasn’t changed, but there were some significant misfires with service. One of my guests was delivered another table’s dish (same dish she ordered) so she was eating well before the rest of us. My order was also wrong so my dining was delayed while the rest of the party was eating. Service is usually top notch, but my family reunion brunch was fairly awkward.
UPDATE: I received a personal call from the restaurant manager apologizing for the service and a token of appreciation. It was totally unnecessary because it's still one of my favorite restaurants in the area, but greatly appreciated.
It took 1 1/2 hours to get our food. When we received our food the filet mignon was over cooked. Seemed like they catered to locals as well.
Wait staff however was attentive.
Great ambiance in the bar, fantastic cocktails, and the bartenders Dane & Bernardo are the best in town!
At first we were concerned that the service might be "too much" in that we noticed a very large number of waitstaff in the dining area. However, this was not the case, and the staff was attentive to everything without being "smothering." Food was very good, although it was hard not to keep remembering how The Krebs used to be. The Krebs, historically, was a major "dining experience" and a meal there was truly memorable (for example, I can still recall my first dinner there in 1948, at which time I was just a kid...but for me, at that age, it was mind-blowing). Again, the meal Wednesday night was fine but essentially on a par with several other restaurants we visit. Just a tad on the noisy side, but that was due to the Porch Party event, which certainly made it a festive evening.
Very cozy environment
Lovely brunch! The decor felt fresh and elegant. The food was outstanding. Really great time!
Wonderful location, great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food
The staff at Krebs were attentative and very engaging.
They gave recommendations based on their experience but
also asked for our liking. I would definitely go back.
We had a wonderful dinner. The only negative is the length of time it took for food to come out of the kitchen. Everything was delicious and service was cheerful and attentive.
Being a first timer I was pleasantly surprised! Food was outstanding and I tried new things that I haven’t seen on other menus. Wait staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Only thing I would improve on are the timing of drinks. The cocktails were fantastic but we didn’t even receive them until after are Appetizers arrived. I ordered another drink before my main course came and the drink arrived after I had finished my dinner. Other than that things were great and I will for sure be returning to your establishment.
Great food and service. Only downside was the room we were in was dark.
The food and drinks were wonderful with friendly service. If I lived in the area I would go at least monthly. While the price is slightly on the higher side of some places you definitely get food, drink and an overall experience well worth it. Not a single component of my meal felt disappointed. The only at all possible downside was that parking was slightly hard but after two passes a street spot opened.
A beautiful experience! Fun and friendly servers, “Hannah” was a delight! Gracious and lovely hostess/owner who made everyone feel special and truly incredible food! Seasonal, creative, cocktails and delicious in-house bread. Make a reservation and go experience of of the best restaurants anywhere, it’s putting this tiny village on the radar for sure!
We had an amazing time at the Krebs. We enjoyed the watermelon salad, which is so refreshing and delicious, as well as the brussel sprouts, but we got the sriracha on the side and just dipped the fried brussels in. Ive never had brussel spouts fried before and they are absolutely perfect that way. Even your most picky eater would enjoy these sprouts. Our cocktails were excellently crafted. I highly recommend the Bernardo, named after one of their bartenders, the drink is a twist on a mojito and is fabulously herbaceous. My mother was also pleasantly surprised they carry Aviation Gin, which is her favorite. We loved our experience at the Krebs and we will be coming back.
Krebs never disappoints. We have been there for dinner in the past, but this was our first time for brunch. We were a bit late for our reservation as we encountered a traffic jam in Rochester and a detour that added several miles, but we were seated promptly and graciously. Our waiter offered pastries as an amuse bouche, then followed with our entrées. I particularly enjoyed the shrimp and grits served with chorizo and chorizo oil.
Saul and Hannah were great servers! Only detail we were disappointed in was the fact that we were celebrating our anniversary and we ordered a dessert and no candle or writing on the dish so it didn’t feel special even though our servers were very aware that it was our anniversary. Other than that we enjoyed our evening !
Wonderful dining experience. The food was excellent and well prepared. The staff provided great service and were attentive to our needs especially Hannah. Very nice dining experience.
Watermelon salad delish. Steak over cooked. Fried chicken left something to be desired.
This week I hosted some lady friends who came from all over the country. We had dinner at The Krebs and it was wonderful. They all raved about it afterwards. We started with cocktails, had oysters, salads, entrees (lamb, cod, pasta) and deserts. They even had gluten free home made rolls. Everything was lovely to look at (served in imaginative ways) and tasted divine. We loved their new menu. And we had attentive servers, and particularly liked the playful descriptions offered by Hannah. We will return again for sure.
The Krebs was an adorable restaurant with incredible service and even better food! We celebrated our anniversary there this summer and would definitely go back again!
I had an amazing Birthday dinner at The Krebs this week. The setting, service and food were excellent! I will definitely return.
