What a diamond of a find. Extremely wonderful menu the food was exceptional. We never had sushi like this before. There sauces were so tasty no need for soy. What a fantastic place for a date she was so taken back from the atmosphere I got lucky 😀😀
Fly in my drink no manager came to address it extremely slow and loud
Very busy Friday night. Seated immediately but drinks arrived very late. Intended to celebrate a birthday but changed our mind.
Great steak teriyaki and pad thai. Has become a favorite place . It is a comfortable restaurant and the extensive menu offers myriad Japanese and Thai dishes. The sushi is especially good
We were seated right away, the food was good, and the staff catered to our 2 yr old, which was appreciated.
The restaurant was not crowded and yet the service was lacking. Had to wait a long time to get a glass of wine. Same problem when I wanted a refill.. The bar was empty. No reason for poor delivery. Food was excellent. Prices are on the high end for Japanese, but again, the food was very good.
Amazing Thai and sushi. Would definitely return. Service was rather slow for not a busy night. Besides that I’ll be returning.
Great ambiance, attentive-courteous server, delicious food...well worth the fare. I will be back for sure!
The service was great. I went there with two friends for a birthday celebration. The waiters were knowledgable and recommended several dishes. Top notch service.
Awesome sushi!!!! Great ambiance !!! It is a awesome!!
Hands down THE BEST customer service experience I have had in south Florida.
The entire staff, waiters and even the owners, especially Chef Richard (he’s amazing) went above and beyond to make our girls night out feel so special.
Took over one hour to receive food. My family went there for Valentine’s Day The restaurant was half full. So service should not of been a problem . Food quality was sub par . I would not recommend this place. We ordered a variety of dishes or seemed quite mediocre
The food was awesome and the host was very friendly. The people who brought our food to the table were very nice but the woman who waited our table was very unattentive and unfriendly. Felt ignored by the server who didn’t check on us and didn’t return to our table to pick up our check and give us change for our bill for over 20 minutes. I would understand if it had been busy but it wasn’t and she didn’t seemed to care that she was offering poor service in an otherwise great place. Overall the food is great and all the staff we interacted with besides our server were excellent.
Food is decent but below what it was a year ago and the past few years. The menu has been drastically reduced to bear essentials cutting out all the creative dishes they used to have. It used to be a unique place and now run of mill Thai restaurants. Also used to have great sake menu. Also greatly reduced.
The food took forever to be served and when it came it was cold. Also one of the rolls was made wrong and had to be sent back. They need to hire more staff, not enough waitresses.
The entrees did not match the description on the menu. The Mad Tuna Roll description said "seared" tuna and it was fully cooked much like out of a can so we sent it back and they brought a new batch of half cooked tuna, which was better but they obviously do not know what Seared means. The Scallop dish was okay, but none of the vegetables described on the menu were in it, only carrots and cucumber. Gave them two stars for their service, and decent Miso Soup, but will not return.
Casual dining great for everyday or date night outing. Service is good and the food is greaat!
The sushi and sashimi were of poor quality, hard/fibrous toro tuna, dry lobster in the roll, rolls ”disarming” while trying to grab them with the chopsticks. Table was never cleaned after the plates were brought to the table.
We will not be coming back or recommending this place.
Love this place, great selection, must try the Tempora Cheesecake
This food is terrible. The restaurant was mostly empty and the service was bad; but not as bad as the food.
Something changed at this restaurant. Orders didn’t come out properly and service was very slow. The menu also changed from our last visit.....much less choices. We used to love this restaurant, but it’s no longer the same.
I was very put off by the fact that the tea was not brewed, but served in a teabag with hot water. My dining partner had a curry that, while quite tasty, skimped on veggies and had chicken which was roasted and then cut up and tossed into the sauce. My duck, on the other hand, was prepared well and the sauce was very nice. We know of other Japanese and Thai restaurants that we prefer and will go to them in the future.
Delicious food grate Ambience always recommend a smiling Mona roll
The place was empty when we arrived but the food presentation was excellent. People did come in but the restaurant was somewhat empty, thus the noise level was quiet. Food portions are generous. Salad with ginger dressing was the only non-taste food item but the entrees and miso soup more than made up for it.
Their sushi was very good
The food was excelent the price fair.
Food was delicious , very tasty and fresh sushi .
The only complaint is they brought our food before clearing the table with the appetizer plates so we had to call someone to come clear the table .
we waited 15 minutes no one came to take our order
a busser took our drink order
no drinks for 15 minutes
we left because terrible service
Met a group of friends for a Friday evening get together. I made the reservation a couple of weeks in advance and confirmed the day before. They really seemed annoyed that we chose their restaurant. The food was fine. The server never said hi, welcome, anything. She just stood there with her electronic pad. No one said goodbye when we left. Nothing. I felt totally unwelcome. Plus the tip was added to our check and no one alerted us to that. I find that very rude.
Excellent food and great friendly service . Always the place to go to eat great sushi rolls, they also have great weekly drink specials . The atmosphere is casual and pleasant. Favorite date night spot in plantation.
The service was fair. The restroom was beyond filthy.
The food is out of this world!!!
The ambiance is nice with nice seat arrangement and lighting. The service is terrible. We sat for 15 minutes before the little gal with an iPad would come over and take our drink order. Then another 10 minutes for the appetizer order. We therefore paced the entree order at the same time to avoid a long wait. The food was mediocre. Nothing spectacular. The wonton soup and noodle soups were good. We ordered 2 chicken noodle soups and 1 was brought with the win in soup and I had to hail out to the little gal 5 minutes after to ask for the 2nd chicken noodle soup. Water and drinks were repeatedly slow in refilling.
The sushi entrees were okay. The price for value is not good at all. The pad Thai was okay. The Popeyes chicken was not explained as being made with coconut milk but tasted okay as well. Again water and drinks were not refilled without asking.
A different waitress was assigned to our table after I sat there shaking my head about the terrible service. She gave a discount but that does not wipe out the slow service. The iPad gal still has not shown her face.
Possibly the worst service I have ever received. The staff from top to bottom had no idea what was going on. From ordering taking forever, drinks not coming, a bottle of wine was presented and removed for 15 minutes till I got up to ask where it was. Our entree’s were so slow - we left. We were beaten out the door by other parties have similar bad experience. Will never go there again and would recommend to everyone to try somewhere else.
I made our reservation through OpenTable. The day before we were to eat at Kiko, someone from the restaurant called me to confirm, indicating that they were overbooked and going to be very crowded. The person told me to “make sure you are exactly on time” or they might not be able to seat us at all. My SO and I arrived 10 minutes early. We were seated right away because the resatuarant was nearly empty. (Insert eye roll here) We ordered the sushi Boat for 2 and an order of lobster pad Thai to share. 55 minutes after ordering, there was no food in sight. I asked our absentee waitress if it was going to be much longer because we had to leave soon. She said it would be at least another 20 minutes. I don’t mind waiting for good food, but not 75 minutes for average sushi. She rushed our pad thai order, we ate in 10 minutes, paid, and left without any acknowledgement. Poor service, average food, wouldn’t recommend, won’t be back. Ever.
Food came out cold. The service was slow and disorganized.Goid not as good as it use to be same with the customer service.
Sushi was expensive for the quality.
We found the food was amazing and moderately priced , service was also very good my wife and I really enjoyed the experience! this restaurant is definitely worth checking out!! Were looking forward to coming back!
Made a reservation and when we got to the restaurant, couldn’t find the hostess to tell her we were all there.By the time we got to tell the hostess we had arrived, she suddenly went behind the bar to make drinks. It took over a half hour to finally get seated. The food was average at best and the waitress would constantly disappear. I would definitely not recommend Kiko
