Welcomed as soon as I walked in, friendly staff, waitress recommended drinks etc. took my drink order / appetizer order soon as I was seated. Food was all very good steak cooked to my liking. mushroom side was amazing.
Much better than my last visit, though I played it safe with ordering chicken fingers. Service was ok, our server did check on us fairly often. Happy to say this visit improved my overall opinion. Sad it is so far away, not enough options anymore in our own area.
Spending the night while passing through Gillette on a trip to the West Coast, we were fortunate enough to spend a lovely evening. Very warm welcome by the front desk and promptly seated. Our waitress, Mary, was friendly, efficient, effervescent, full of energy. Our ribeye steak dinner was very good but I would comment that the meat, although very flavorful, was a bit tough considering the cut. The accompanying salad and baked potato were excellent. We were encouraged to try the mile-hi mud pie for dessert and we’re not disappointed. The piece de resistance was the fact that on Sunday and Monday the restaurant offers 1/2 priced wine from the entire superb wine collection, and we were lucky enough to dine on Monday. Would certainly dine here again should we pass through Gillette on another trip.
The staff was so friendly and very accommodating! We were visiting from Wisconsin and had been looking forward to our dinner at Cavalryman's and were not disappointed. Would definitely return. Thanks for a great experience!
