Enjoyed dinner here after a visit to Tacoma Art Museum. The menu is broad - worth several more visits! Portions are generous. We ordered two starters and one fried rice entree and had plenty to take home. The food was delicious and 2 star was nicely spicy for me. I will certainly be back!
AMAZING! Cat was a lovely server who knew the menu well. The music was at the perfect level , food was incredible. The host (Curtis) was so welcoming and sweet. Would recommend this place over and over!
We had a wonderful birthday dinner for my husband-servers were very helpful and accommodated our grandchild in a high chair, even though we hadn't arranged it in advance. Food was wonderful, as always!
Celebrated my wedding anniversary here. It was great. Awesome atmosphere, food and service. Highly recommend!
Queen concert! Loved that they played Queen most of the night!!
Makai was so nice. Malia was so sweet helping him. I love spring rolls
Only negative was the temperature in the restaurant. Very cold and the server said a/c is controlled by the university of Washington. Let’s be environmentally conscious UW.
I have not been to Indochine Tacoma in many years and it was fabulous. I went to celebrate my retirement and enjoyed the items on the menu and had a hard time choosing one but loved what I chose.
My friend loved hers as well and they gave me so much I had a full meal there and one more the next day at home. I highly recommend Indochine for anyone who loves Thai or Asian food.
Horrible service. Our server forgot our order twice. While we were waiting for our entree dish Salmon, she came up and said, so any idea for dessert? We were like oh shoot, she totally didn’t get out entree into the system. And...she realized that, and apologized. Dishes scattered around after customers left, and no one cared to bus the table. We sat with a bunch of dirty dishes at the bar while waiting for the delayed salmon. What a night.
We greatly enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service of this restaurant. Due to traffic, we were running late for our reservation, so I called to let them know. They were very friendly and flexible - when we arrived, we were seated immediately. When I made the reservation, I noted that it was for a special occasion (my husband's birthday), but, unfortunately, this was not acknowledged at all. They did give us a free dessert because a large party had ordered more than they needed. However, it would have been nice for them to acknowledge my husband's birthday. Aside from this, we had a nice time and will plan to return again in the future.
Indochine has been one of our favorites for years. We went to celebrate our 24 year anniversary with our children. We sat there forever before our waiter arrived to take our order. Our appetizer came at the same time as our food. No one ever came back to refill our drinks. We wanted to order dessert but after waiting for a long time, finally walked to the front counter to ask for take out boxes and pay the bill. The restaurant was freezing. Everyone was wearing coats. The restaurant was not busy and there seemed to be plenty of people working. Very disappointing!
The food was excellent - cocktails were tasty - ambiance was fun. A great birthday celebration.
Went here for Father’s Day! So good!
We went for my son's graduation and had a party of 12. We used a private room which was very reasonable and the whole experience was outstanding - food & service in particular.
Took our daughter here for college graduation -
The most amazing Thai food ever! Prices are very reasonable!
Delicious meal & the fresh rolls are the best! We will be back.
Enjoyed a family celebration dinner. The event ended early and they were very gracious about accommodating our later reservation to an earlier one.
Always one of my favorite places. Love the ambiance and the food is always excellent!!
Wonderful service 🙂
Loved the vibe!!
We have been fans of Indochine since they opened well over 10 years ago. They are ' hands down' of of the 10 the best Thai restaurant in entire state of Washington.
The food was amazing! I will be back but won’t sit in the bar again. Service in the bar was painfully slow. Waited 20 minutes to get menus, another 15 minutes to get drinks and waited 20 minutes to get our bill.
This restaurant never fails to impress.... It's truly a gem....!!
Went for dinner with family for my wife’s birthday. Food was great and service was also great. Will eat here again.
We had a gals birthday lunch and shared dishes family style. Good food and ambiance
Great Tai food, waiters and staff extremely courteous and accommodating. Background noise, but service and food make this a top restaurant.
Excellent food...the best Thai I have had in Tacoma recently.
We enjoyed going here. The food is good, the portions are huge. Sadly it was prom night, so a lot of kids not really knowing what to do, but that isn't the restaurants fault. We will return.
My group and I had a great experience at Indochine. The food was all delicious and brought out in a timely manner, the interior is beautiful and not too loud. 10/10 would recommend
Service was slow but there was a concert at the Tacoma Dome and it was prom night. They should have added extra staff to accommodate a packed house.
I love the food at Indochine, but do not like the back room, where we were seated with our large party (and 3 other large and loud parties). It was impossible to hear each other in the room, and the servers were overwhelmed dealing with everything. When one or two huge tables left, service was very good, as usual.
Only in the lounge/bar. The dining area had terrible service, got one entree wrong, and I had to get up after 10 minutes to ask for service.
Great service on a slow Thursday night. We had chicken phad Thai, cashew chicken, crab wontons, lettuce wraps, and the firecracker rolls. Each dish was delicious and portion sizes were good, but it was a little overpriced which is why I can’t give 5 stars. Would recommend to others.
Great customers service and amazing food and drinks
Something happened since the last time we were here. Down the toilet, not the same presentation or taste on food. Won’t be back anymore. Waste of $200 dinner. Chicken Pad Thai was bland and the menu is very small now.
Ok, so here it goes. My review is likely reflective of the fact that we visited with a group of 7 for a family celebration so I had high expectations. The ambiance is great! I expected it to be busy and it was. But aren’t most places on Saturday nights? Our waitress was nice and all but I think might’ve been trying to handle too much - not her fault. Food came but an hour after we were seated. The first 2 plates were cold. 3 other plates came about 10 minutes later and were hot. Food quality was average in my opinion. Desserts were the best part of the night. Drinks are expensive - $12 for a cocktail. My guess is going for lunch or happy hour specials if they have them would be best. Overall, it was ok. But considering the area and parking and other options I would go to Ruston Way area on the waterfront next time!! So sorry to have to give an average review.
We have wanted to try this place for years. So glad we finally did. Even better than we expected. Can’t wait to go back.
Food was okay.. not great, service was great, atmosphere was great and the place was very clean
Always love eating here when visiting Tacoma. Great options, yummy food.
