All food is beautifully prepared and lunch and dinner are entirely gluten and dairy-free, without compromising on quality ingredients or taste. The location was perfect to where we needed to be, the staff were extremely polite and helpful, the venue was very well presented and really clean.
We came as a surprise for my mums special birthday and she was over the moon with everything. The meal was delicious and the staff in the restaurant were spot on!
Thank you for making the special event extra special. We would all definitely return!
As always the service is impeccable and the food is great. Lovely restaurant and always a favourite when we come to London.
Brilliant meal and outstanding service! Highly recommend to everyone.
Great value pre-theatre in an amazing location in the heart of all the theatres! Amazing to see all the people walking around the streets around the building on their way to a performance. The bar is beautiful & the restaurant is intimate, very much recommended.
Excellent food even if you are not gluten or dairy free. Great service, lovely ambience.
Highly recommend the rstaurant.
We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here - we had the pre theatre meal which was excellent value. The staff were all very friendly and extremely efficient. We shall definitely eat here again if we come to another show in the area.
the restaurant is completely gluten-free so I could have dinner without having to worry about cross-contamination etc. I did like the food but I think they could do more to stand out. I did miss the wow factor and the food was really expensive, so you would expect to experience that.
We chose the tasting menu with the wine pairing and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish, the flavours were immense, especially the lamb hotpot and pineapple marinade! It was food that made you smile, and the drinks were perfectly matched! The service was fantastic, both of our waiters were very friendly and we had a laugh! Special mention to Emmanuel (hopefully I got the name right)! Would love to return one day.
There staff were very happy, friendly and attentive. The food was very well prepared however the main course portion was a little on the small side. The food was very good and fairly priced. It was a real bonus that their menu is lactose and Glutton free which makes it so nice to be able to choose from the menu without having to worry as to what ingredients are used and how the food is prepared, fantastic.
It was a pleasure to find a restaurant for my celiac daughter while we are travelling in London.
I brought my mum to this amazing restaurant for her birthday. As two people who have been diagnosed with coeliac disease, this was the most relaxing experience ever! No worries about cross contamination, and staff who were so so accommodating and able to answer every question we threw their way. The food was OUTSTANDING! Not a single negative thing to say about our experience here, and would definitely come again for a special occasion!
Reasonable price For pre theatre menu. Lovely food and great to be able to order gluten free without worrying.
Delicious gluten free food. Such a treat for me as a coeliac and my non coeliac friends were delighted with the food too.
Service was friendly and attentive, we even had a discussion about the artwork on the walls. This is my favourite restaurant in London.
I couldn’t believe everything was gluten free - and delicious,
High quality experience, service, room and food plus great location
We enjoyed our evening at Indigo. However there was one shortcoming: our aperitifs were slow to arrive, and they didn't have the wine we asked for. That meant that we were still drinking the aperitif after we had finished the first course, and the wine arrived after that. A problem in the bar?
Having said that we would go the Indigo again.
Excellent dinner at a beautiful restaurant. Perfect for any special occasions.
Excellent offering especially being able to choose from the entire menu as a coeliac. Only disappointment was the price of the mint tea which finished the meal perfectly with the complimentary petite fours but at £5.50 seemed a little excessive when the rest of the menu was so reasonable. Will definitely revisit.
Service was a bit slow but best food in centre London for gluten free
Amazing! I cannot say enough how much I loved this place! The fact they cook GF and DF is amazing! I’m a chef myself with several food allergies and the foods I create are pretty specific so to be able to eat out and find a place that i can enjoy was so wonderful, to say the least! My only qualm would be to ask for alternative DF options/ingredients other than soy. Coconut, cashew, macadamia are other great alternatives!
It was myself and my partners first time at your restaurant and what a beautiful setting and ambiance. Lovely and attentive waiters, good food choice on the set menu aswell. The cocktails were a little expensive and we were given the wrong drink. We asked for a flavoured gin and tonic and was given an ordinary one. We was never rushed at all throughout our meal which was nice. I would recommend your restaurant to any friends and would return.
It was perfect! It's a beautiful building and very nice ambiance. The service was excellent and the food was delicious.
Pre theatre dinner for a show starting at 7pm. Excellent service and food. We had tea/drinks in the lounge/bar area before and again, just delightful staff and ambiance for a family get together. The afternoon teas looked pretty fabulous too , so we will definitely be back.
Superb staff, superb food! We wish we could call in every week, but we live to far away! Thanks you for a memorable evening!! I cannot recommend Indigo enough!! Thank you
The best GF meal my GF has ever had! I thought the staff, wine and food were excellent...and I'm not even GF! We had the tasting menu, everything was great, the only food criticism was the mains were a slight anti-climax compared to the other courses; the beef dish needed more potatoes/veg and the Halibut didn't blow me away. That said, it was still a fantastic meal overall. Emmanuelle was excellent, with his wine pairing recommendations. One or two of the other guys forgot our drinks once or twice, but otherwise great service. We felt very relaxed. Loved the idea of having the (very well presented, semi-informal) restaurant located on the mezzanine, as it meant you could see some of the bar downstairs and hear the perfect amount of its atmosphere...and live - acoustic guitar & singer - music. Spot on for Valentine's! Will definitely go again.
We had a very high quality meal here, sadly soured by the service we received. We were firstly wilfully misled about what items were available so that the waiter was able to up-sell, before another waiter happily took our order for what we wanted. At the end of the meal, having spent what for us was a considerable amount of money for a special occasion, including multiple courses and several drinks, we were fairly rudely told to vacate the table. At the time, the restaurant was at around half capacity, and we were not even allowed to finish our drinks. Were the restaurant busy, or the waiter had given us ten minutes warning, this obviously would have been ok. As it was it soured what had been a very pleasant evening and delicious gluten-free food.
But would advise to ask for tap water rather than pay more than £5 for it and do not get a third of a pint of bottled beer for £7!!!!! Stick with tap water. Somewhat excessive methinks.
Leroy was exceptional and attentive helped with our wine selections
Perfect for pre-theatre dinner, excellent menu and interesting wine list.
Lovely evening. Friendly staff. Lovely food and we were able to talk without the interference of too much noise.
Wonderful staff and lovely food.
Great pre-theatre venue. Nice atmosphere. Very friendly and efficient staff. Would like to spend time at the bar!
Gluten and dairy free restaurant with imaginative menu and good quality food and varied wine selection. Overall, great experience.
We chose this restaurant because it was close to the Aldwych theatre. It was a great choice. We had the 2 course pre theatre menu which was excellent value. The food was delicious and we would not have known the food was gluten and dairy free. The bread especially was amazing! The staff were all very friendly and attentive. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be returning.
The second visit. As before, the best GF menu and the best GF experience. Staff, service, food, everything was excellent! I'll be back.
Excellent staff. Great food. Superb for business.
Really nice place, good food, nice atmosphere and lovely staff
We visited Indigo for a birthday celebration this weekend and were not disappointed ! The food was superb and exquisitely presented, the service we received could not be faulted . Every member of our party was blown away and we cannot wait to return . Thank you all at Indigo
Everyone was very nice and food delicious
Went there for pre theatre dinner and I think their pre theatre menu is very good value. Don’t be put off by the gluten free and dairy free dishes
All finger licking
We booked this as a treat for our fathers birthday before taking them to the theatre. We were warmly welcomed from the minute we walked through the door. We arrived early so had a drink in the bar first before going upstairs for our meal. The staff were very welcoming and informative about the food and the food was amazing would highly recommend and will be going back.
