The food and the service are very good. The main problems are the portions which are small and the prices which are exorbitant for the amount of food that you get.
Two of us brought our 2 friends (first-timers) to enjoy the amazingly flavorful Indian-influences cuisine and yummy cocktails. NYC only allows outdoor dining; our seating was well-situated and socially distanced. And the weather cooperated. We had an enjoyable evening and wonderfully delicious dining experience!
Great service and outstanding memorable flavors! Can’t wait to come back
We have been here several times but this time we went at lunch on Sat 3/14 during COVID-19. Given that Broadway was dark, the restaurant was very quiet. Despite this the staff were wonderful and extra careful about disinfecting the table multiple times. The food was awfully good as well. I just hope this crisis pasts so all restaurants can get back in business.
Food good, service good, very noisy. We made reservations almost one month ahead but when we arrived they gave us a table just next to the front door next to the bar by a table of drinkers making a lot of noise. They moved us to a different table a bit better. I would recommend this to a friend looking for Indian food in NY , or a vegetarian.
Always a good experience, I love coming back to this friendly and top notch place
We went for lunch and our server was never clear on what we can have . I asked if we can share the tasting menu , he was not very clear and then said you will have to buy separate . The whole idea of upscale restaurants is the experience and we were never asked even once how our food was . The ambience and presentation is amazing . I don’t think the price is justified
Food was lovely, but waited almost 20mins to get our first drinks & had to ask twice!
The food is excellent: both well-prepared and extremely interesting. Not at all “typical” Indian dining. Service was impeccable. Altogether a wonderful experience.
Best Indian Restaurant in NYC.Its a treat to be at this location.
I have been to Indian Accent a few times for Business Dinners. It has always been great. This time was there with my wife. As always, it was an enjoyable experience. The food was great. We did the four course meal - an excellent culinary journey through some of India’s regional cuisines with Indian Accent touch. Well executed. Rich in flavor. All of this taken a notch above with attention to detail and extremely attentive staff. Will be back...again and again!
Best place, best people, best food in town. One of the experiences we miss during self-isolation is having a meal at Indian Accent. See you on the other side of this sad and upsetting situation. We will raise a glass to the future health of everyone who works at Indian Accent and to all of New York. Stay safe and well. xox
I love Indian food and I love upscale restaurants, but I'm not convinced that upscale Indian is ideal. The dishes we had were superb, but miniscule (we left kind of hungry). Dishes and their presentation were beautiful; service could not have been better. But again, it seemed like very chic tasting menu items--and not enough of them :-)
Truly amazing food. Incredible tastes and textures. Unlike any other Indian restaurant!
The food was amazing!! Wow
Service was a bit slow
Outstanding food and service. Interesting food and exotic ingredients. Never disappoints.
The fish was stale and smelt. My friend described it as monster. This is my 4th visiting and this was the worst experience. The waiters were arguing with each other in the back and killed the ambience. I will submit an official complaint with management.
Amazing food. Flavours and textures were outstanding. Service was impeccable. Would love to go again whe. In New York.
This is one of the best restaurants in NYC. Aside from the food being delicious and beautiful, the stunning restaurant design (very flattering lighting and beautiful plates), the way one is treated is outstanding. From Love at the front desk greeting you with a warm hello, Richard, the manager welcoming you as if they have been waiting for you to arrive to start the evening, and the knowledgeable and kind waitstaff, such as Suhrey, it is an all around delightful experience. I should also thank the chef and his staff too for producing yummy these dishes! Thanks!
Second time eating here. The tasting menu is outstanding. Service is excellent. The tables are well separated and the noise level is low so no problem having conversation.
I love this place!
Outstanding food and service. We went to celebrate a birthday. Couldn't ask for better food and the service was amazing. The quality of the dishes on the chefs tasting menu was outstanding.
I have been here about 7 times. Apart from the very first time right after opening: all other times absolute amazing. Very pleasant atmosphere, creative modern Indian cuisine (this time I had the crab legs, pepper chicken and sweet pickle ribs: all delicious!). Also good selection of cocktails and wine, including half bottles.
