   We have been coming here for a long time and usually food is top notch. But this past experience has left a bad taste in our mouth. Our dinners came out individually with 10-15 minutes before another dinner came out. Servings were very small. Hibachi was cold. Waitress would disappear and one of the dinners never came. Sushi not fresh and haphazardly made. Very disappointed!!

   We had a reservation. Got there and the staff let us stand at the hostess desk for about 10 minutes. We were seated and told our waiter we had one more showing up in our party. He then left us alone for 15 minutes, we wanted to order appetizers but since he didn’t talk to us that didn’t get done. We had to wave our hands to get attention. We moved to another table, and watched other parties get served, finally after 45 minutes my son went and talked to “a manager” she apologized. That was it, didn’t come to the table, the server was busy but still took another 15 minutes to take our order. We were there at 4! It wasn’t that busy. When our food comes out, it’s not at the same time. My sons sashimi came out 15 minutes after his pad Thai. He talked to the manager again, who said she was busy with this and that and she was so sorry. That’s it sorry. We paid the bill and Still tipped but only 10%. My party didn’t want me. To tip at all. On the way out my wife spoke with the manager who said they would do better next time. They lost our business. Customer service was simply a zero.

   I made reservations for a graduation lunch, a table for 10 that we were able to shorten to only needling 8. We arrived 10 minutes early at 12:50 for the 1:00pm reservation. We got seated by 1:12. We didn’t get waters or a server until 1:50pm (an hour after arrival) By 2:15 we were able to order food. Food order got a bit mixed up at serving but I think the servers were doing their best as there were much larger graduation parties being served. My biggest gripe is that if we hadn’t asked about a server we probably would have waited even longer for service. Not ideal when you are on a time crunch.

   Great staff, very attentive, thorough. Drinks mixed just right. Staff was the best. Great atmosphere. Only complaint; on the scallops, should have been more than 4 for the price.

    I tried the nigiri platter of eel and finally had enough of my favorite. Marvelous, marvelous. Excellent service, too; Imperial Koi has managed to escape the staff shortage and lack of quality other restaurants seem to face after the coof.

    It’s a nice clean atmosphere. The music was terrible. They were playing instrumental Disney songs the entire time. I have a 6 yr old. When I go out with adults I’m trying to get away from Disney. The food was tasty and fresh. The specialty roll was disappointing due to the small size. For $19 I better be full after eating it. The size does not justify the price. Lastly, the place was practically empty when we were there yet the service was rather slow.

    I went with my family on Easter Sunday. The waitress was nice, the drinks were good, even the konpai sushi roll was good. But our main dishes of the hibachi was nasty and cold my brother sent his food back to be warmed up. It’s no way they made the food it taste like frozen meal from a grocery store. I sent the food back saying I didn’t like it. Not one time did the manager come over to the table and ask about our concerns. He did not want to come to our table he only wanted to offer a 10% discount since the food was nasty. The food was cold like I’ve never experienced that before ever. Our bill was $234 plus tip so we paid the bill I left hungry. We ended up going to lil ari on spring garden to eat. I wasted $234 what a Shame we’re never going back. The absolute worst hibachi ive ever tasted. Now the drinks and sushi was good along with the waitress she was nice. But the hibachi was cold and nasty and the way the manager didn’t want to come to our table and handle the situation was rude and unsettling. It was like he simply didn’t care he really offered 10% off. Like what is 10% off for this nasty cold hibachi that taste like it was previously frozen.

    Great food as usual, service was cordial and professional, but a little slow… you seemed to be a little understaffed, so it wasn’t for lack of effort! Our only real problem was a couple of houseflies that kept buzzing us! We’ve never had that problem before and don’t expect to next time… That said, we still had a great meal and look forward to our next visit!

    Service was good, but the food was a slow coming from the kitchen which was suprising since the restaurant was only a quarter full. We had a couple rolls and the Peking Duck. All was very tasty.

    My husband and I just love Imperial Koi. Always friendly and Always good. Sometimes the sushi bar gets backed up but that’s because their rolls are so creative and so good.

    The menu was extensive, featuring sushi, rolls and dinner entrees. It appeared that there were not enough wait staff for the restaurant but we totally understand that hiring is a challenge in the post COVID environment. Unfortunately, and most likely due to the staff shortage, our meal was not delivered in courses--appetizer, salad, main, dessert. The salads came first with a few mains next--requiring me to set aside my salad so my entree will not cool down--appetizer and other individuals mains. The food was very tasty--General Tso Chicken and Peking Duck (although I prefer "pancakes" to the buns). Both were delicious but since I lived outside of China town in NY, I've had better. Our requested additional dressing for salads and hoisin sauce for the Peking Duck arrived in a timely manner. The bill was presented but we had not been asked about our desire for dessert; we ordered the deep fried banana and it was delicious--I highly recommend it! Then we had to wait for the bill. Overall, we would return as we enjoyed the meal.

    This was our first experience. We loved the layout and vibe of the restaurant and the service was excellent. The food was just ok. The vegetables in my hibachi were barely cooked and still crunchy, and steak temperature wasn’t correct. The dim sum platter takes a little extra time to prepare but was only lukewarm when it came out.

    We tried this restaurant for the first time. It was PACKED (good thing I had reservations). The ambiance was a beautifully relaxed upscale vibe. We had the Asian Style Calamari, Mongolian Beef/Rice and Hibachi Steak w/Fried Rice... all delicious. The place was clean and the servers were very pleasant. Will be back!

    Very good combination on Asian food and sushi. I like the open feel of this restaurant. With windows on 2 sides it has a light airy feel. Peking duck and sushi selection were great.

    Made reservation for 6:00 PM. Seated at nice table. Activity level in restaurant was moderate. We waited for 5 minutes but were ignored. Not even served water. Left after 5 minutes. Got a sense that restaurant was understaffed and not managed well. This has happened in the past. Our last visit to this restaurant.

    This is my go to place for upscale Asian cuisine in Greensboro. The decor is lovely with soft colors booths and tables and soft lighting. This is NOT your typical Chinese restaurant! My favorite dish is the Shrimp Pai Thai. They have a good sushi selection. My favorite waiter is Joe. Make a reservation or you'll be left waiting in a long line on the weekend! I dine here monthly and love it.

    OMG! It was my first time there, not sure what to expect, however, the menu looked interesting. I ordered the peking duck plate and my daughter got sushi. Both were phenomenal! But....DO NOT LEAVE until you have had their chocolate lava cake, I am not a lava cake person, but this was amazing!!!! I already have reservations to go back in 2 weeks for a special occasion.

    This was a lovely birthday celebration between friends (party of 2). We were seated promptly at a the time of our reservation, but it was an hour before our server took our food order. We were warned that the appetizer and sushi roll we ordered may take 20-30 minutes more to prepare. We changed our appetizer order and the rest of our food (specialty sushi roll and two entrees) came out plate by plate, but at a fine pace to share and enjoy leisurely. We did not feel hurried and our server was attentive; we expect the kitchen and dining room were very understaffed.
