We had a delightful dinner at Francesca's Fiore this week. Each of us ordered a different entree, adn they were all delicious! The Talapia con Brodetto was out of this world. Our server gave us the time we needed and was very gracious. We had a lovely evening, and I recommend Francesca's Fiore highly. MoreOpenTable Diner -

Skrine Chops is a locally-owned restaurant that is run by none other than grillmaster Steve Skrine. Skrine made his signature pork chops for years for friends, family and charity events but never opened his own restaurant until recently due to popular demand. In addition to a cozy and rustic dining area, Skrine Chops also caters if diners need top-notch barbecue delivered to their event or function.
Skrine Chop's menu is a simple celebration of American barbecue. The top of the menu is obviously the signature Skrine Chop itself. These 10 oz. bone-in center cut pork chops are rubbed with a house seasoning blend and grilled to a perfect medium. They can be ordered a la carte or with a side. Besides the famous pork chops, Skrine Chops also serves steaks, ribs, grilled chicken breast, and sandwiches like the pulled pork, tri-tip, pork tenderloin and shaved ribeye with blue cheese.More

Shanahan's is a Creole restaurant in New Orleans, Louisiana that opened up for business in 1977. It serves up traditional dishes that are packed with flavor and made with quality ingredients. Shanahan's is open from lunchtime through the early morning. Children are more than welcome to dine in with adults, and there is space to accommodate larger groups.
For appetizers, Shanahan's has a fantastic shrimp and cheese grits plate that has ingredients like shrimp and Andouille sausage. The gumbos are a must to try. There are two kinds; one has crab and crawfish, and the other has chicken and Andouille. Creole entrée options include a king red ribeye with jalapeño hollandaise and a catfish platter over dirty rice. The venue provides mouthwatering desserts as well. The Louisiana bread pudding with whiskey sauce is very popular, as is the key lime pie that has a graham cracker crust.More
The service was very prompt and helpful, though not intrusive. We had a sampler appetizer plate, a wonderful creamy potato and pureed spinach soup, and shrimp tacos. The tacos were excellent, but we noticed a "sameness" to the 4 appetizers and the tacos, all fried with little taste differentiation except for the shrimp itself. The Cadillac Margarita was one of the best I've ever had. Will happily go back but will seek to stretch the taste range between courses a bit more. MoreOpenTable Diner -
