We had hoped to go to a fancier restaurant but ended up at this one. We were very pleasantly surprised by the delicious food, friendly service and fun ambiance.

Our first time dining here and the reviews don’t do it justice. The food, the service, and the homemade bread can’t be beat!

Great food and attentive and friendly service! I’d been wanting to try the restaurant for a while and am so glad we did! It is more casual than I originally thought it would be based on the menu, but still upscale. The flavors were perfect, the grilled calamari was cooked perfectly, the Burratta lasagna and eggplant parmigiana were to die for, and not overly heavy. We will go back!

Took my boyfriend here for his birthday because he loves Italian food and I can honestly say this restaurant did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the stuff was very professional and friendly. You will see use there again and not just for Birthday. I had the fettuccine Alfredo with prosciutto and chicken and he had the spaghetti and meatballs.

Delizioso! Il Porcellino was a hit from start to finish. We were promptly seated for our 7:00 pm reservation- unusual at most restaurants on a Saturday night. We were a party of 4 and had a roomy yet cozy booth. Our server appeared soon after we sat down to take drink orders. Three of us had martinis which were served in vintage coupes and quite tasty. A must order is the loaf of garlic bread. Decadent doesn’t begin to describe it! Hot, crunchy and filled with pesto and butter. Not on anyone’s lo-cal list but well worth the calories and enough for 4 to share.

Appetizers (Caesar salad and grilled calamari) were all classic and well done. We had a variety of main course dishes: veal parmigiana, pappardelle alla porcellino and cacio e pepe - and all truly delicious. Very flavorful without being overdone, good portion sizes as well. We ended the meal with 3 desserts: bomboloni, which are like mini beignets or donuts, covered in sugar with chocolate sauce for dipping, classic vanilla gelato and the salted caramel semi freddo, which is divine!

The background music was a fun mix of tunes from the 60’s to the 80’s, enjoyable but not intrusively loud.
Service was attentive throughout the meal.

We will definitely be back!

Lovely experience. Visited for the first time and the servers also treated us great. Gave us some complementary starters just coz it was our first time there. Food was also very tasty and ambience is very romantic yet not so quiet.
Loved it!

Best lasagna ever! Also enjoyed the Italian salad. My sister’s Rigatoni with Vodka sauce was disappointing, hardly any sauce and the noodles were too al dente for her liking. Great service!

Found the restaurant on Open Table...it was wonderful -- from beginning to end. They even brought us over dessert for our anniversary without us saying anything (I had just entered that bit of info on O.T.)
