Didn't understand the hype. I have worked in the area for 5 years and only heard great things. Completely underwhelmed. Maybe we ordered wrong but the food was only okay but expensive. The room was very dim and the menus were printed in light gray making them hard to read. Portions were a decent size and the wine selection was fine. waiters were mostly attentive.
Great food, very good outdoor tent setup. And service was great as well
If, great food that is well prepared, friendly professional service is the standard and ambiance are what makes an overall great dining experience, then this is the place to go for fine dining.
Great food and extraordinary service!
Delicious food and excellent service but very overpriced
This is my favorite restaurant. Still fine food, flavor, ambience and always attentive staff. I had the Chilean Sea Bas and the tuna tartar to start. Splendid chianti recommended by the waiter
Great food highly recommend iy
Food and service were awesome. Would highly recommend
Amazing food service was spectacular.
Birthday dinner. Food was ehhh & service ehhh
Reconnect with a dear friend
Food was ok. Def overpriced....on top of that terrible service.
It is so dark in there, you'd think they are hiding something.
Everything was wonderful
The service is excellent - warm, friendly and accommodating. The food is fresh and everything is made in-house I ordered a margarita and it was perfect! Unlike many restaurants these days, it was not watered down. We both had the veal chop. It was delicious. We ordered the Caesar salad and the stuffed zucchini flowers The zucchini flowers were fantastic! I’m looking forward to returning.
Good for a special occasion celebration, be prepared to spend!
Delicious Meal, and Creative dishes
Service was great - attentive, friendly et.
Food was good too, but not good enough to justify the prices.
By no means a bad experience, but not good enough to justify the high price tag.
We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and decided on this restaurant. We were not disappointed at all. The food was all delicious and the service was wonderful. I had the halibut with shrimp and asparagus as my main course and I have never had a meal so perfectly prepared before. This will be a special date place for us in the future again.
My only complaint is at times they tend to hover over you so as to rush you out.
Always love II Mulino. Fantastic service. Very welcoming./ Food was spectacular.
Hands-down ambiance was beautiful but food was just OK if food is OK it don’t have to be expensive.
Enjoyable dinner. Excellent food, wine, service.
Food was absolutely delicious. Service was spotty. And they had the nerve to put a space for an extra captains tip. Service did not justify this extra “tip”.
We were seated by a exit door to the outside tent which was left a jar so the cold air was coming right to our table when asked manager he was very rude and said oh that’s an exit door it has to be kept open ever time a waiter or bus boy went in or out the door was open all the way. They also were seating people to the tent threw that door. He basically said oh well. Food was very greasy and the prices are very high. First time writing a review but want to let people know about the non covid 19 guidelines , also the managements attitude. It was 17 degrees outside
The staff was wonderful and the food was delicious.
This is one of our all time favorite places to eat. They never disapoint. The truffle ravioli is amazing! The bone in filet is perfection. If you like chicken parm, it is a must! The cannoli for dessert was so lite and tasty. We can not wait to go back!
beware of the waiter who offers you a deal on a $195 bottle of Tuscan wine for $150 only to tell you after it's poured that he 'made a mistake' and to make up the difference the bottled water at our table would be on the house. 2 bottles of water for $45 REALLY! Didn't want to argue about this as I will NOT be returning to Il Mulino.
Loved the experience. Not priced for the casual dinner out but well worth the price for a special occasion. I can’t wait to return.
Awesome dining experience! Food was outstanding as well as the service!
Restaurant was packed during Covid times.
People came in without masks - Had 8:00 PM reservations and got seated at 8:30 . The place was packed! Luckily got table in a corner - so felt ok- but tables were to close together in general!
Took a long time to get appetizers and entree- food was good - but rushed us to be out by 10 . Understood they had to close at 10 - but we spent a lot of money on dinner and had waiter hovering over us to pay check and said they had to close in 7 minutes. They sat people down at 9:00 and they were first eating their entree when we were asked to pay check - they seemed to know someone there and were not being rushed!
Unfortunately - we would not return because they definitely were not compliant with social distancing and masks .
Went with my wife for dinner, restaurant came highly recommended, food was very good. I completely understand the that restaurant industry has been hit hard by the pandemic but as a fine dining establishment there must be a bar set for the dress code. There were multiple men dressed in hoodie sweatsuit suits with sneakers.
There is a time a place for dressing like that. I think the host needs to not allow people dressed for the gym in for dinner and the reputation of the restaurant will most likely excel.
Probably won’t go back.
The food was fantastic
Amazing service, had the best anniversary dinner ever!
Took 20 minutes to get seated. It was fairly packed as well
Had a great time. Great service and delicious food
Sat by door which wait staff used to access outdoor dining area... very cold. Baked clams were mediocre at best .. needed salt. Had the scampi oreganata. Shrimp were very good however escarole unlike the clams was very salty .. dinner for 2, 2 glasses of wine at $260 ..underwhelmed.
I was seated by the wait station and not once but twice the staff dropped a plate and made the loudest noise that I even jumped, not to mention the 6 foot distance was not adhered to with the waiters standing behind me Very noisy as well. Food was nothing special considering the price and they couldn’t even get a margarita made right. I expected more from this restaurant.
Always a gem of a destination with perfect food, wine and service.
