Excellent food and classy ambience cultural aspect as well as important responsive taste
The food was absolutely delicious I would go again if I could afford it every month
Great as per usual
Fantastic evening out. Food was exceptional and our waitress was fantastic. All the staff were in fact and even had a nice chat with the manager. Definitely would go again.
The food was incredible but the ambience and vibe wasn’t what I expected or liked! No sort of vibe created with good music/service/decor
Food was really nice! Service was fast no complaints what so ever
Amazing food, and the service was lovely. We were placed in a room with no air conditioning on an extremely hot day. So felt as though the steep bill didn't quite match the experience of such an expensive venue.
We came to Hakkasan to celebrate my boyfriends birthday (belated due to lockdown) and we had the set Plum Blossom signature menu. It was so delicious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating too.
Been here many a times before, never fails to impress. Selection of cocktails, choice of pleasantly delicious vegetarian food, and service, are all great.
This was my first time visiting Hakkasan Mayfair as I normally visit Hakkasan Hanway Place and I thoroughly enjoyed my evening! All staff were courteous and helpful. Especially our waiter who provided great service for the night.
Still the best restaurant in London
Starters were fantastic! We shared dim sums, salt and pepper squid and the duck salad, which was scrumptious. Unfortunately the mains disappointed, looked lovely to the eye but lacked seasoning, we had to ask for salt and sauces. We ordered roasted cod in champagne and honey (the sauce had a cheesy taste, not quite what we were expecting), short beef ribs (nice and tender, but lacking taste. Very strange, as I've had this before and it was lovely then), egg fried rice and vegetable fried rice, broccoli and seaweed. We did order satay chicken, but that arrived after we had finished eating. A real shame about the mains, as the starters were exceptional.
Great date night. Overpriced for sure but great food.
We had a nice dinner at Hakkasan. Unfortunately we were disappointed about the table ( in the entrance) and asked to be moved. They offered us a table in a side room, poorly populated so it was like we were not in the restaurant. A pity.
The food was nice, the service was good but very slow.
The food quality was very high overall. The service at the table was excellent, attentive, discreet yet with judicious suggestions.
However, the receptionists seem to have been hired for their ability to snobbishly roll their eyes rather than to welcome guests, which is reflected in the mark for service. Also in retrospect, I should have asked to sit on the ground floor, as the basement feels like a night club.
Sadly, the menu can only be read after scanning a QR code, which did not work neither on our phones, but on the tablet of the waiter, which had to open up a barely readable PDF menu on his device.
Suggestions to Hakkasan: keep the chef and waiters, print disposable menus (like other restaurants do currently) and replace your receptionists.
As it stands I do recommend Hakkasan for the food only.
Overall our experience at Hakkasan was good although we were seated near the entry to the service kitchen and till we did ask to me moved to several seats that were free and this was declined. Due to this we had waiters brushing past us all evening asking us to be excused as we was directly in the path which lead them to serve other tables. We knew this from the beginning hence asking to be reseated but as mentioned previously this was declined.
Really delicious food and great service as always.
