Chinese
Hakkasan Hanway Place is the original Hakkasan restaurant. This Michelin starred Chinese restaurant was designed by the famed Christian Liaigre, the intricate wooden lattice screens, carved out of dark English oak, invite discerning guests for a unique dining experience with contemporary cuisine. The menu has a strong Chinese ethnic identity with an ethos of Cantonese cooking.
Hakkasan and Lucy Choi London are partnering in celebration of London Fashion Week 2019.
Lucy Choi has created the Hakkasan Collection, three limited edition shoes inspired by Hakkasan, including the Mayfair, a red stiletto, and the Hanway Place, a black flat decorated with an embroidered tiger symbolising power, ferocity and beauty.
To coincide with the launch, the Hakkasan Collection menu showcases signature dishes alongside an exclusive dessert served in a glossy black shoebox as well as a cocktail, the Choi Ling. The menu is available until Sunday 17th November.

Food was so delicious and tasty! The quality was amazing. They even did a lovely dessert for us as we were celebrating an anniversary. 5/5 for food but it’s a little dark so weren’t able to get good photos.

The brunch is amazing, setting and ambience is very relaxing, food and service incredible. Do it (especially the option with the bottle of champagne), you won’t be disappointed!

Food was delicious, service was good. The only thing wrong, was the music was slightly loud as the speakers were so close by.

But over all, a very enjoyable experience.

A fantastic restaurant and setting with a great choice of set menu's at a reasonable price, as well as the impressive a la carte menu. The food, cocktails and wine were fantastic. My only criticism would be the drinks service, it was slow at times but did not detract too much from a wonderful experience.

We had the 4 course Character "Brunch" menu (deceptively goes on until 6pm!) & wow, were we thrilled! 2 cocktails, and half a bottle of wine each, so plenty to drink. Great Duck salad starter and tasty dum sum. Those with allergies (or special dietary requirements) were well taken care of, actually ending up with more food than the rest of us. A fabulous chocolate dessert to finish off with. Well worth the money and certainly will go again! Just could do with a little more lighting around teh dining tables. Thanks

Weekend brunch menu you have to both be vegetarian or both be meat eaters. You cannot mix the menu one each. This was a bit misleading as the voucher didnt specify when we booked. Service was not amazing had to get up to pay the bill and was passed between about 5 different waiters.

I have a nut allergy and therefore couldn’t have the dessert offered in one of set Menus but the waitress was very accommodating and let me choose from two others. I also didn’t want the rice and asked for extra vegetables which she also allowed.
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal as she was so attentive and considerate.

We really enjoyed Hakkasan once we got there but the booking process was terrible. Firstly we had to give a credit card when we made the reservation - that was totally fine. We booked the table for 6pm. At 5pm we received a message to say that if we didn’t contact the restaurant before 5.30pm and pay a £50 per person deposit they would cancel the booking. We called back straight away (within 10 minutes max.) and were put on hold for 20 minutes or more - by the time we got to speak to anyone it was after 5.30pm and we got an email to say the booking was cancelled! You need to make sure you have enough operators available - we were trying to get ready and get to the restaurant on time and keeping us on hold for 20 minutes was very inconvenient and annoying.

We normally go to Hakassan Mayfair but decided to try Hanway place for a change. The food & service was no where near as good as the Mayfair Restaraunt .

Whilst very happy with the overall experience, the expectations were sky high. And for a reason. This restaurant will set you back some dosh, so you want things in return.
Taken into account that I've been to some other upmarket Chinese restaurants, this one is the least value for money. I've had equally refined and lovely food for a lot less.
And 13.5% service charge? What about that? Seriously, that's just a way of hiking up the price without advertising it.
The constant beats are probably a bit of a feature and whilst it wasn't my favourite, it was OK. The single lights per table are not even positioned above the table. I almost had to hover my menu over the neighbouring table in order to read the menu. You'd think in a restaurant of this calibre, these are the kind of things to be spot on (pun intended).

Really enjoyable meal - we had the dragon set menu so top end on price but didn’t disappoint. We also asked for quick pre theatre service which was excellent, and they struck the right balance on speed and pleasure! Would defo go back to try more.

We had a wonderful experience and this was my second time at this particular Hakkasan. The food was great and service reasonably good too. We would definitely recommend it and be back again soon.
