In fact, we’re the only restaurant in Greensboro to receive the Wine Spectator “Best of Award of Excellence”. We invite you to join us at Green Valley Grill, adjacent to the O.Henry Hotel and Friendly Center in Greensboro.

Our courtyard dining is very busy during this time. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee outdoor dining reservations. If you request outdoor dining, we will add your name to the list in the order reservations are made. You may call and see where you are on the list if you’d like.

    My friend and I ate lunch on the vine covered patio which was lovely. It had a quiet ambiance that we enjoyed very much. The food was above average and a good value. The waitstaff was friendly and we felt well looked after.

    The patio was a perfect spot to celebrate my Dad’s 89th birthday. And lucky for us the weather was fabulous too. I would highly recommend GVG for any occasion.

    Two of the toughest menu items for consistency have to be salmon and poached eggs for eggs Benedict. Between my wife and I, we’ve ordered both at Green Valley Grill at least a dozen times each… they’ve always been perfect! The salmon, cooked medium, is moist and tasty; and the poached eggs are always cooked perfectly, never with overcooked yolks.or undercooked whites… my only complaint is that these two dishes are so well done that I’m not able to bring myself to try other items on the menu! The waitstaff is always courteous and professional and the atmosphere you provide enhances the dining experience! We look forward to our next visit!

    This was a first time experience for both my wife and I. It had come across our radar a couple of times so we decided Sunday brunch would be a nice experience. I made reservations for 12pm and we made it within two minutes of the time. We were greeted and seated within a minute of entering the restaurant. We were seated in a smaller section where quite a few customers were dining. We sat for about 3-5 minutes and were then greeted with menus and drink ordered taken. I decided on a mimosa and my wife a tequila cocktail from the menu. After a few minutes of debating we decided on a couple starters. The blue crab spinach dip seems to be a favorite, so we ordered this in addition to the short rib sliders. Overall, the drinks were the highlight of the show. The dip had a heavy Mayo-like flavor that overpowered the dish but was good. The short rib sliders listed a goat cheese/honey spread but there was only a small layer added to the sliders. The truffle fries that came with the sliders were good but almost overwhelmingly salted. I’m not sure that I would return but glad to say I had the experience.

    The GVG was delicious! My friends and I ate here for brunch at it was pretty good. I got the Avocado toast and it was soooo good. 10/10. The french toast was also to die for.

    I went to GVG for a late lunch. It was busy with graduations and other celebrations. What I had in mind to eat was not on the lunch menu. I ask the waitress who checked for me and my favorites were prepared for me. That is a sign of a great restaurant who cares about their customers! The food was fabulous as was the service and attention I received. Thanks once again for a great experience.

    Had the best NY Strip I may have ever had in my life. and my husband gave me a bite of his grouper and it was to die for. Service was impeccable and wait staff was incredibly nice and cordial. We had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary.

    We came for a late lunch to celebrate a graduation. The service was fabulous, as was the food. We appreciated the atmosphere and quiet for personal conversation. we all tried different entrees and all six of us enjoyed the meal. We will be back.

    Good food good cut of filet very tender just not sure why there wasn’t any seasoning on it. The ahi tuna was overpowered by the crust which took away from the ahi.

    We made reservations for our wedding anniversary, which included letting the restaurant know if it was a special occasion...which we did. Well, the waitstaff did not acknowledge our special occasion at all, so not sure why it is even asked on the reservation form.

    Jacob was our server and he was amazing! One of the best servers I’ve ever had period. The host and (head of hosts?) were friendly and accommodating also (I didn’t get their names). Young gentleman at the front and woman with her hair all pulled back in a bun was who I spoke to. And the food was fantastic! Whenever I’m in Greensboro, NC in the future, I will definitely be back to visit the Green Valley Grill! And thanks again to Jacob, for accommodating a party of 10 with ease and grace!

    This was our first time dining here & the reviews/images made it seem as though this was the place to be. We later discovered, this was NOT it. The rotisserie chicken was served uncooked-raw. The lamb chops were not cooked as requested. Broccoli lacked seasoning. The presentation of our food seemed thrown together. Cute outdoor seating but that’s about it. I do not recommend.

    We had a great experience. The food was amazing. The timing of the meal was spot on. Sandra was our server for this meal. I really liked the teamwork of your staff. They all were very attentive to our needs. We didn’t have to ask for drink refills. We are huge fans of OHenry Hotel, Green Valley Grill, Lucky 32 and Printworks Bistro. I am actually going to the the Bistro today for a special retirement luncheon.
