Chris and Nina Nugent are chef/owners of this 30-seat Fine Dining BYOB restaurant located in Lincoln Square. goosefoot® features a subtle palette of grays with touches of gold and black. The cuisine is an artful blend of French technique with modern vision created from small artisan farm products. Chef Nugent’s talent for precision, refinement and visual artistry in the form of an elaborate multi-course tasting menu.

The menu price is $145 per person (20% service charge plus tax not included) plus $10 corkage fee per person. (If you purchase some wines from our goosefoot® food & wine store, the corkage fee will be waived).

The wine list is available at www.goosefoot.net/byob.

Please allow 3 to 3,5 hours for your dining experience.

Food Restrictions: We can accommodate no shellfish, pescatarian, allergy to nuts.
We CANNOT accommodate vegetarian, low dairy, no dairy, gluten diets. In regards to gluten free, you may eat around the gluten items.

A great meal that is always a distinct visual treat. This time the meal was timed with a soundtrack with music from Woodstock. It was wonderful total experience. Exceptional as always.

We had an amazing time at Goosefoot. The food and service were spectacular! It was a very easy, non-pretentious experience (unlike many other prix fixe venues). There was plenty of space between the tables and the pace of the courses was perfect … not too fast, not too slow. We will definitely go back.

Extraordinary in all respects! Menu and service were outstanding; accommodated a pescatarian on very short notice. The food looked and tasted exquisite. Portions were generous, given that the restaurant serves a tasting menu. The music and decorations were lovely. A very special place. I've already made my next "special occasion" reservation. I rate this as an overall better experience in terms of food and atmosphere than Next or Alinea. This is a BYOB restaurant, which suited my group fine.

Always a fantastic dining experience. Goosefoot is one of most unique and outstanding dining destinations, especially for Chicago (and any other great food city in the US). Chris is spectacular as a chef/owner. His attention to detail, passion and skill is amazing. Nina, as owner/front of house, is warm, gracious, and extremely personable. The pace of the dining experience is slow and that is much appreciated and should be viewed as a good thing! It gives the diner an opportunity to appreciate the food, the complexity of flavors and have great conversations with fellow guests and with Nina. Whether as a solo diner or as a member of a group I have always had an outstanding experience. The food is unique, beautifully and artistically presented and a true value for the price. Can't wait for my return visit!!

Intimate setting in a comfortable well lit space. The husband & wife duo of kitchen and hospitality really make you fell at home. Great portions, not too big or too small, great scale of flavors throughout the 10 course winter menu meal. Really enjoyed my meal here and would suggest it to anyone celebrating or looking for a place to take a loved one.

This is the very best value and the food is amazing. That being said another server is absolutely necessary to make this a 5-star experience. At least 2 servers would make a world of difference even if the price per person went up by $20/30 to accommodate.

Nina served a 10 course mail prepared by Chef Chris and every course was absolutely delicious. The courses ranged from savory soups and meats to fruit juice tonics and homemade chocolate. We savored every bite and enjoyed Nina’s company as she described each dish to us.

The atmosphere was perfect for our style of fine dining. The musical theme was Woodstock. So as we indulged our way through 10 courses, we listened to classic rock from the 60’s. We were celebrating a birthday party and Nina went out of her way to make the night feel special. Definitely a night we’ll remember.

It was our 2nd visit to goosefoot and it was just as wonderful as the 1st time. The hospitality, service and food were outstanding. The venison loin and the pine bud custard were our favorite courses, so delicious! Thank you Chris and Nina for such a great dinner experience.

What a lovely dinner. The presentation of the food was incredibly creative and tasted so good. We felt as though we were being welcomed into Nina & Chris's home. It was my husband's birthday. They wrote a beautiful happy birthday wishes on the dessert plate, also they added a nice touch at the end with a signed menu. The byob factor was great, we selected some wines from their wine store and the wines paired perfectly with the food.

i have always been interested in dining at Goosefoot since it's inception but my dining partner is always intimidated by price fix menus and i can understand the uncertainty of what you will eat and if it will be substantial. Goosefoot proved those misconceptions so wrong. We walked in and were immediately greeted by Nina by name which made me feel very at home and she showed us our table..The theme of Goosefoot for this season is Woodstock and the music the atmosphere and the food has touches of woodstock going through. The thing that made the night special besides the food was the incredible service and just personal attention received by Nina who shared history on the restaurant and the dishes and made the time go by fast. The was never a lull in between courses as Nina was keeping us attentive and in suspense for the next course and of course we could see the other tables receiving theirs. The mean started off with the fois gras and the chestnut soup..so delicious, we then had the scallop in the lobster broth..we both wanted more and more of this...the parsnip soup was hearty and delicious with the lentils at the bottom adding a nice texture, then venison entree and the beef...creative, succulent and juicy and perfect especially when all the bits are added together. then we had the cheese course piped in the egg shell, the yuzu palate cleanser presented with the mini replicas of the bandshell at Millenium Park, amazingly creative with the origami touches, we then moved on to dessert which after the custard and the snow globe chocolate, we were so full which was a shock..we had to take the final desserts and the chocolate bars home. Nina was a delight, the food each course so unique and full of flavor and presented with such precision. If this is what Michelin is all about then i want this as much as i can. It does take 3 hours to complete the meal but as i said, the wit and conversing you have with Nina will not have you missing the food. Will be back

We were absolutely blown away by the finesse and elegance of their food without any of the pretention that can be found in other restaurants of this caliber... Nina was a delight in greeting us & making sure everything was taken care of expertly. Cannot highly recommend Goosefoot enough.
