Amazing experience !!! Our steak was cooked perfectly to perfection. Definitely one the best steakhouse in Vegas.

The old Vegas feel and Sinatra music playing was the perfect touch to a beautiful anniversary celebration. We will be back.

What an amazing dinner! From the time we stepped in the door we were transported back to an era when service was king. The attention to detail was amazing and the table service salads and desserts impressed. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but wince you walk through those doors you will be in dinning heaven.

This is always our choice when visiting Las Vegas. The food is always excellent and the staff, friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is truly, "Old Vegas". They don't make 'em like this any more.

Classic steakhouse with great food and even better service. Be sure to try the cherries jubilee or the bananas foster for a great table side experience.

Great place to eat.Had the special 36 ounce tomahawk rib eye steak for two which comes with two salads and two sides for $195.00. Also tried their shrimp cocktail and crab cocktail and cherries jubilee for dessert. Gotta luv this place

Steak cooked very well. I got the long horn with cream spinach and a baked potato. The food flavor are pretty neutral. Not better than a bbq in the back yard food

I came here for my birthday after a friend recommended it. I'm not big on spending a lot of money on food but since it was my birthday, I thought why not. The restaurant is nice inside, pretty dark and old school, and had a quiet atmosphere. I ordered the Porterhouse and whipped potatoes. I asked for medium on the steak and it was brought out well-done. I mentioned it to who I assume was the manager when she came over to ask how everything was, and she would have fixed it but I didn't want to have to wait to have another steak cooked while my friends already had their meals. And I was really hungry anyway. However, this led me to not really being able to enjoy the steak and for almost $60 dollars, that is unfortunate. The potatoes were excellent though.

I typically don’t write negative reviews for establishments, but others must be forwarded to avoid an irreversible mistake, and precious time wasted. Customer Service was not in the vocabulary of this restaurant. They made the elderly members of my party sit in the car, and would not accommodate them they made no effort to offer accommodations for them. Staff was not friendly at all. The food was over salted and over priced. Steer clear of the Golden Steer. Not worth your time or money. This is mediocre restaurant that has an obscure practice and refused to split checks. The restaurant was dated it looked like a funeral parlor from the 1800s. Don’t go, it doesn’t live up to the hype. You can get better food at Ruby Tuesday for $12.99. Use your money more wisely- buy a meat share of high quality grass fed beef from a local farmer.

Service was terrific as was the food. The restaurant is in an unassuming location so the only issue was getting a cab to pick up after dinner.

We don't live in Vegas. Over the years, three people have recommended that we eat at the Golden Steer Steakhouse in Vegas. We finally had the opportunity and we have no regrets! Wonderful meal and experience.
We were quickly checked in for our 6 PM reservation on a Friday night. Short wait for our table. Everyone we encountered was professional and friendly and during this pandemic all were wearing masks and social distancing.
The Caesar salad prepared tableside was oh so good. We could have just eaten it and been happy because it was that good!
Filet mignon was prepared medium rare as requested and it hit the spot.
Lobster tail was melt in your mouth delicious. We shared the steak and lobster.
Sautéed mushrooms were just ok.
Crème brulee was good.
We thoroughly enjoyed treating ourselves to the fabulous meal we had at the Golden Steer Steakhouse!

The Golden Steer is exactly what you’ve been told - an excellent meal in an incredible environment. The restaurant itself is incredibly storied and the service is beyond anything else you’ll find in this town. Such a wonderful experience! Make sure to call directly after you make the reservation to request a booth, they make the trip all that much better!

After many visits to Las Vegas, we finally made it to the Golden Steer. We loved the history behind the place and the ambiance didn’t disappoint. Service is excellent, but our steaks were even better! We’ll be back!

One of the best salads I’ve ever had. The meal was fantastic. Impeccable service from a very competent staff.

It’s has been on my bucket list for years and I finally broke down and went there. It was our anniversary so I wanted to do something nice for my wife. The wait staff was excellent couldn’t get any better. The old history all over was neat to sit back and look at. I will someday go back for another special occasion, or if I win a big jackpot.

Amazing food & service. Never had a better steak, larger shrimp, or chicken so tender. Prices seem pricey but well worth it. Outside of resturant is very old school & deceiving, you will not be disappointed once inside

Outstanding restaurant! Great steak cooked to perfection. Open since 1953. My first time there was in the 1980s. Came back in 2021. Same great food and service.

It was great food as usual yet they totally forgot to recognize the 50th birthday I told them about....and then reminded them about when I got there!! Not great service.... especially when our friend saw/heard all the birthday celebrations happening around us!! Not good.
