Glass & Vine
Food is ok. Not worth the price. Beautiful nighttime setting although very hot. Moscow mule was not served in a copper/metal mug 😕
Great place to hang out with kids and grab a drink. Our white wine was not cold. Food is OK. Gave us the happy hour menu and after we ordered they said it didn’t qualify for that day so we had to pay full price for the small bites.
Flies Everywhere- so. Many. Flies.
Swarms of them. All over our food.
And, we were INSIDE.
It was disgusting.
We repeatedly complained.
Oh!! And, the server added his own 20% gratuity to the check!!! There were only 5 of us- he claimed the computer system did it automatically.
Yeah, so we won’t be going back anytime soon.
Great place to go with kids
Fantastic hamburgers. Could have done without the happy hour hors de oueves 1/2 happy hour wine was just about 1/2 the quantity so questionable value. Venue is beautiful in the park
Great dining experience! The food was fantastic and the ambiance was great. We would have loved to sit outside, but the mosquitos would have eaten us alive. With some forethought, we could have prepared for that. Our waiter was helpful and attentive.
Lovely place, especially the outside, but needs a little TLC in the side. The owner or manager comped our dessert after waiting 1/2 an hour for them. I’ve been to this restaurant before, but at night and outdoors. I can’t say it was the same experience during the day and indoors. Might as well of sat outside. It was hot and I was with my Mom and Godmother, both elderly and not in the position to be sitting in the HEAT on a HOT summer day. The staff was nice and tried to accommodate us with keeping the doors closed, but no difference. Maybe a better choice when it’s not 90 degrees.
Food was great, but the service was not. Unprofessional, forgetful and it wasn’t just one server. We had a few and they would all forget stuff. Prices were very high.
Fantastic food, nice location and land scape, the service was very good, if you go with children the park in front is enough to mantain them entretained.
My wife made reservations to dine at this place to celebrate Father’s Day. We reserved inside sitting, but there is really no such thing, all restaurant doors are open to the outside, you are just dining under a covered roof. This place should be called “Flies and Wine” this restaurant has an issue with flies!!! As we were having dinner, I was swatting flies with my napkin, we had over 10 to 20 flies all over our food, we couldn’t finish our food since flies were landing on it constantly, it was pretty disgusting! Kitchen is also open, it has a rectangular window with heating lamps where they place the food, where flies also gather until the waiter goes picks it up and brings it to the table, food is not that bad, the menu is very limited but!!! Overpriced for what it is! Don’t expect 5 ,4, 3 or 2 Stars. Furniture needs to be updated upholstery on chairs are peeling off, over all restaurant did not look clean. Also there’s some homeless people living outback by the bathrooms. The owner needs to step in and take control of situation or they won’t last.
We were greeted by the incredibly friendly Tracy at the hostess stand. Cauliflower from the small bites menu was delicious and it was a very nice portion. After that, we had the wonderful Brick Roasted Chicken. We look forward to making a chicken sandwich tomorrow with the leftover chicken. Our server, Bryan, was outstanding!!! We cannot wait to return to Glass and Vine.
Wonderful experience! We had a dedicated server for a large party for my daughter's birthday and everything was done wonderfully. Thank you and we will be back!
Great location, but mediocre and overpriced food for brunch. Will not return
Excellent laid back atmosphere with inside or outside seating available. The food delicious, well prepared and presented. A good variety of drinks available. A do not miss dinning experience for Coconut Grove.
The food is sub-par bar food with a high price tag. The flies consume the entire atmosphere of the restaurant, and i'm talking about the inside. The service takes a long time and the runners use their bare hands to place add-ons to dishes, no gloves...no hand washing. Floor was so saturated with liquids when attempting to go to the bathroom, not to forget the manager that almost trampled me as she exited the kitchen slightly annoyed. The place has potential, just ran by poor staffing with extra sprinkle of neglect.
Perfect Brunch spot on a nice day!
It was our first visit, a warm evening but the drinks were cold and the food was good. The service was a bit slow. Will try again.
This was our first time to eat at Glass and Vine. The food was amazing and the atmosphere pleasant. The server was good once she got to us but we waited a while for her to arrive. No real problem as we were enjoying our time together. We'll be back.
Probably the least appealing dinner I've had in years. I dont like giving poor reviews, but the food was substandard and the wait staff literally disappeared after our meal was served. Definitely not recommended.
Service was horrible. It took almost 40 minutes for a server to come to our table after we closed our tab at the bar.
The meat was chewy, dry and mediocre at best. Although the menu said it was churrasco.
The bathrooms were disgusting.
Overall the service and experience was extremely poor.
Will never go back
Enjoyed the outdoor seating with view of the playground for the kids to play. The brunch on Memorial Day was yummy, my favorite was the truffle fries
Food was decent and it was nice to be right beside the park where the kids could play. The portions were tiny for the price. There were a LOT of flies, even for outside dining. Service was SLOOOOWWWW.
Great for families!!!
The place is beautiful and the service is good. Food however could be better. Not too much variety no the menu and not that tasteful, plus a bit overpriced. I recommend only because of the venue! Very convenient if you are going with a group and have kids as the playground is just in front.
Good but service a bit challenged...
Beautiful outdoor area, great date spot. The service was a little on the slower side, but nothing egregious. We had steak, watermelon salad, and semolina pasta, all of which were delicious.
Service was subpar (server). Overpriced but it’s the Grove so I wasn’t surprised.
This was 2nd visit. First visit was weekday night & delightful. This visit was Sunday night & if had been first would not have returned. Hostess greeting non existent and never mentioned choices of table. Our server was presented with challenge as we decided to order snacks after we ordered entree. He did try to space meal BUT did not communicate that so after a while began to look for mains.
My friend and I had been looking forward to Glass and Vine based on its reviews. However, we were very disappointed. The food was OK, but my dish arrived 10 minutes after my friend's did. Moreover, our server was cold and unfriendly. The same goes for our hostess, who was at first going to seat us right under the baking sun, when there were plenty of seats with some shade available. Overall, ours was a bad experience and we won't be returning.
Darren was a great server! He literally made the party alive for the birthday guy. The food was amazing and the drinks.
My wife and I shared the Shrimp Ceviche and the Brick Roasted Chicken.
Both dishes were delicious and this was the first time that we had the Brick Roasted Chicken. We loved it!
As always, the service was outstanding and there is nothing nicer than being greeted by Tracy upon our arrival.
Gorgeous outdoor set-up tucked perfectly in a pristine grove of trees adorned with twinkling lights. One downside of the park venue was the commotion (mostly from a couple screaming kids playing in the adjacent playground - I think they were part of a group dining at the restaurant though so their noisiness would've likely been present regardless), but the light background music and widely-dispersed layout made it easy to forget/tune-out the noises in the park.
Our server Darren was charming, quick, and attentive. Portions were generous (ordered one "snack,", one appetizer and one pasta entree that was all split among 2 people and we still had to take most of the pasta home!) and the food was delicious and filling.
Their fried cauliflower was our favorite by far - definitely recommend!!
The food was amazing. We had 5 different dishes and each one tasted perfectly. My fav was the coconut French toast and the guava croquettes.
Reservations recommended because weekends draw crowds to this Coconut Grove gem. We love having a drink at the bar before getting seated because it’s a great place to people watch and the bartenders are really people friendly (and great mixologists).
The DJ on Saturday was playing his music so loud we couldn’t talk. A brief request to our waitress and VOILA we could have a conversation again.
The shrimp pita was just a refreshing delight on a hot Mismi afternoon. The Avocado toast was delish! One guest had the fish entree and cleaned his plate.
Staff was attentive even with a packed restaurant. We received unrushed attention from our waitress.
They even brought a water bowl for our pooch!
We love the location in a park like setting.
Great brunch! Will be back. 😎🌴
Water and drinks were served in dirty glasses and 1 glass also had a hair in it. Couldn't tell if it was human hair or dog hair since pets are allowed. My party size was 3 people and we spent $100 for basically a hamburger and 2 egg dishes. Too expensive for such simple dishes. Even at half the price I will not be returning.
The appetizers came out after the meal.
This restaurant felt like it was literally on the the edge of downtown wannabe nightlife as it was abutted by an active school soccer field and public park. Kids and dogs wandered freely , but we were initially drawn to the lively lighting on the tree trunks as we drove by and decided to visit. The staff was friendly and efficient, but the food was of poor quality, and of limited selection, and the atmosphere was distracting.
The Service was terrible we kept looking for our server and the food was over done or burnt. It’s a shame because I brought my SF client here due to all the good reviews and we had a terrible time.
Great ambiance, excellent service.. The coquito French toast was poorly made. Just French toast with coconut shavings drowned in a thin sweet syrup. The bathroom is beyond disgusting. It smells and was filthy. If I would’ve gone to restroom before I was seated; I would’ve left. That’s how unsanitary it was.
Need more staff.
