Giorgio at Leadenhall
It had been a little while since my last visit. Please to see Giorgios is still as good as ever!. Definitely won’t leave as long next time!
A great authentic Italian in the heart of the City. I used to go there on business and chose it for a pre Christmas family get together this year.
Quality is great, service is friendly and informed. Can be a bit pricey but that goes with the location and food quality.
Best restaurant in the city by far. Great food, great service and always a pleasure.
Attractive surroundings. Very attentive wait staff Great menu and excellent food.
I would go again in a minute.
12 December. Booked for 11 people attending a work's team event.
A great selection of beautifully cooked and presented food.
Would certainly recommend and would certainly return for a further evening of delicious Italian food.
Fantastic place! Truly Italian atmosphere in the centre of the City. You will be surprised by level of prices, especially, considering quality of food and service!
Great Italian food, excellent service as always. Nice atmosphere, not too noisy, easy to have conversations
Great friendly service, as always. Would recommend to anyone.
Really quite wonderful. Great king prawns, the size of bananas.
I have used Georgio's a number of times to bring business associates there and they have never let me down. The service, food and ambiance are all very good and I am comfortable with taking people there.
A lovely warm welcome from the moment we walked in. Excellent food and the wine was divine. Thank you all.
Had a lovely birthday lunch there. Service and food was amazing. Will definitely be back.
Food and service excellent, as was ambience and noise level (not noisy).
I love coming here! Each time I am in London, for business or otherwise, I make it a point to eat here. The burrata appetizer is my all-time favourite! Everything else on the menu is pretty good, but you should give the daily special "presented" as you walk by, a try. The staff is friendly and attentive. The owner is warm and welcoming! Make sure you stop in!
The food was really good, the service was excellent, the ambience comfortable and overall a very good experience and I do recommend it to people looking for a good restaurant.
Great find - very authentic Italian restaurant, good service, good prices and good food. Nice and quiet on a Friday evening when everyone else has left the City - I suspect it does a busy lunch trade! Will certainly be returning.
Old fashioned classic Italian
Tiramisu was outstanding
Giorgio and his staff are lovely and provide a great service
Your pasta bongole is so nice and delicious!!I came from Moscow and I am a Japanese, want to visit again!
I like everything about Giorgio - it has a lovely tasteful decor, the service is outstanding and so is the food. I am very comfortable taking clients there for lunch.
A lovely little Italian that serves all the usual favourites that you would expect. Service was excellent and food was good. I also recommended it to the in-laws for a gathering with their friends they really enjoyed it too.
Amazing leaving lunch with my team. Service and food was amazing.
Great venue. Polite friendly and professional service. The food was fantastic with plenty of choice.
Love this restaurant. It has a nice relaxed atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food and service are excellent. The Smoked Salmon starter was delicious as was the Veal Milanese main course. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone and I've already booked my next visit!
We had a quick lunch, only one course - location was convenient, staff were friendly and food was lovely
If you want an authentic Italian experience in the City, your best bet.
Overpriced average food, poor ambience. Only saving grace is the really nice waiting staff. Not recommended at all.
Always a friendly warm welcome. Excellent food, wines and service.
Always a pleasure to pop in for a friendly Italian experience - good food, good wine and a great team!!
Absolutely fantastic food and service, nothing was too much trouble for staff and then food was outstanding. We will be returning!
Always lovely- attentive friendly service and great food
I booked this restaurant for a recent business lunch for four people.
The menu is excellent, a great showcase of Italian food. The service was great, very prompt and good recommendations. I had the lobster linguine which was delicious, there are a great range of seafood pasta options. My colleague had duck, which looked great.
We would definitely recommend this restaurant and the meal ended with lemon cello as any good meal should.
The food is just great! The atmosphere is like in Italy. In terms of price around £35 pp (starter, main, desert) excluding wine. The portion are good, for me main + desert were more then enough. I would definitely come back!
Had many good meals at Giorgios, and couldn’t fault the food this time. Only slight issue we had is we were seated in an area with a low ceiling and the acoustics were such that it was very loud and we struggled a bit to hear each other over a business lunch. Not the staffs fault but still was difficult to hold a business meeting in that spot. Table was on the right hand seating area as you enter the main restaurant. Otherwise great food as usual.
Very good traditional Italian food in a traditional City-style setting
Another fabulous lunch at Giorgio - like taking a trip to italy in my lunch break
Wonderful food is a given plus attentive service
The ambience is buzzy and lively just perfect
Thank you to everyone there as they are all excellent from start to finish
As always, amazing service and such good food. Had great lunch with some friends from work
Really genuine and friendly welcome with a 'glint in the eye' but v professional. Recommendations right from the start and seated warmly with immediate attention from the service waiters. Food great. Simple - eg not too mucked about with being fine ingredients. Italian experience at its best.
Open all day so not rushed. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting very good Italian food with Italian, proud but polite, people and the ambience and 'buzz' of the restaurant is an attraction in itself.
Fantastic and whilst I don't live in London, will definitely be returning. Giorgio is now on my restaurants 'top list'...
Good food, but we were seated near the corridor, so quite noisy and busy.
The quality of the food is good, if a little overpriced. £11 for 5 stems of asparagus with some cheese on is a bit steep.
Service was brisk and slightly uncomfortable, as if we were putting the waiting staff out.
Overall I'd recommend for business meals, but not for a romantic or intimate dinner.
