The talented Sing Harlem was fantastically entertaining a true delight!
Wonderful experience - completely lived up to expectations. If we didn’t live so far away, we’d be back more often!
War ein schönes Erlebnis; lifemusic and brunch
Essen war leider nur Mittelmaß und sehr teuer!
Dafür war die Musik toll!
It was very mediocre. Our special wishes for seating were ignored. We were generally ignored which was frustrating given we have loyalty been coming for several years now though this was clearly of no interest to them. The standards are visibly slipping. The food was overpriced and basic. We won’t be coming back.
Excellent venue ... music and ambiance was great but service was way slow.... the waitresses we had were excellent but it seemed as though they were trying to cover to big of an area or 2 many people.
I would definitely go back again but I hope that they have an adequate wait staff next time.
Came here for thanksgiving with my family, we enjoyed the ambience including the live music, there was a buffet which offered a nice variety of food that we all enjoyed. I would definitely come back!
Love this place. The live music was phenomenal. The drinks were flowing and the food was yummy. I would definitely recommend going.
The music was excellent and the food was very good. The food came out of the kitchen a bit cold but the waiter immediately took it back and brought us a newly fired fresh plates of food.
The big band was excellent.
Great great venue. Awesome vibe, incredibly talented musicians, lovely food. Go! Enjoy!
We attended the gospel brunch. We had to wait 20mins upstairs crowded around the bar before being escorted downstairs. The gospel music was awesome but went for a grand total of just 35 minutes. The young singers were extremely talented. That said, everything seemed very rushed and before we knew it it was time to leave so the next session could start. Given the price we thought it represented poor value, sadly.
It was a great night out. It took a little time for the waitress to start the service, but everything was good after she started.
I’m from out of state and heard about the restaurant. I took my husband for his birthday and it was excellent. Food was delicious, service was quick especially during the show. Will go again.
Went with my teenage son for my birthday and to see Emmaline perform. The food was SO good, the service was perfect and the show was amazing. Overall excellent.
The Gospel brunch with Sing Harlem was our top experience in NYC during our 6 days visit.
And we did a lot, and we enjoyed everything A LOT.
But this was magical and a one of a kind experience. I cannot recommend it enough!
This was our first visit in New York and the brunch at Ginny`s supper club was the best for the hole tripp
We should absolut recommend it for friends and also come back another time
We had a blast! For some time now I wanted to come and it was well worth it! We've already told other about going. The music was on point too! The only issue I had was finding somewhere to park.
Great experience! Food and entertainment were exquisite. Can’t wait to visit again.
we totally loved our experience, beautiful music and the energy was electric
The next time I am in Manhattan, I will make time for Harlam. And I will spend some of my time at Ginny's.
We visited for the Gospel brunch. Wonderful food. Matchless experience.
I have been to Ginny's a number of times since its inception, but I fear the quality and service has declined. My parents and aunt were visiting from out of town, so I took them on Saturday for dinner and entertainment. The wait person was not very friendly and my father had to wait for 10 minutes and ask 2 different people to get the coffee he had ordered. My meal arrived much later than everyone else's arrived. All of that was forgivable, but what was NOT was that there was a very large group in the back 1/2 of the room and they were SO LOUD. They made it impossible to enjoy the performance that everyone came to enjoy. It was totally ridiculous.
The perfect long weekend....traveled from Bermuda and included red rooster in our experiences and the food was amazing and we loved the sit off at the bar. I will return, I loved it.
My daughter and I both ordered fry chicken and two drinks. Both our sides dishes were cold. The manager did come over to apologize and inform us that she will have two new sides sent out. Which she did. I was wondering why our plate was not taken back to the kitchen? Our chicken remained on our cold side dishes. My drink order was wrong it was replaced with the correct one. My daughter asked if her drink can be changed for another drink from the menu? Our waitress said yes but never returned with her drink.
The Red Rooster was the one place that I wanted to go while I was in NY . We left shortly after band started to play . I could not enjoy the band due to my food experience and to make matters worse we each paid $20 to listen to the band.
I honestly don't know if I will check out Montreal location.
May I suggest when setting the table please ensure that person that is setting the hold the plates from the bottom . I noticed the gentleman that set my table along with some other tables had his fingers wrapped around the side of the plates. May I suggest holding the plates at the bottom while carrying the plates
Great music, nice place, food could be better.
FANTASTIC experience from the high energy entry with live jazz , to the good food and amazing Gospel show downstairs. These kids sing their hearts out and leave you inspired, moved, happy ( and well fed). Its a great , upbeat afternoon and worth every penny. PLUS you are supporting local yourh talent and an aspirational neighborhood.
Gospel brunch at Ginny’s was one of the highlights of our trip to NYC. The food was fantastic, the music was amazing - uplifting and beautiful. Highly recommend!
The food was delicious and the music was fantastic.
Excellent experience! My mom thoroughly enjoyed her 70th birthday. Thank you thank you!
We enjoyed the service food and music. The server was very helpful with suggestions and information about the food and drinks.
The venue is charming with a 70’s feel that is also very cosy. Noise level was perfect and you could enjoy conversation without having to shout. I’m not a big fan of buffets so I was pleasantly surprised at how well payed out and constantly replenished the food was. I’ve eaten at the Red Rooster and the food was every bit as delicious. The gospel choir was fantastic. I highly recommend this venue!
I have been to Ginny's Supper Club several times over the last couple of years and I have enjoyed not only the meals that I had but also the service and the musicall performancers that are featured.
The Sunday gospel brunch at Ginny's brings such joy and tears to our eyes everytime we go. Go now. Go again. Enjoy!
The live band & piped music was great. The food was tasty & enjoyable. Portions were a bit more than we would normally eat. The evening was delightful & we enjoyed ourselves immensely.
The music was great. Those kids were talented. Food was excellent. Initially I was not keen in selservice but it allowed me to serve myself 3 times! Service was slow. We ordered 3 drinks and it took for ever to be served. I was even asked if I wanted to order 20 minutes after I had already ordered. Still I love the place and we go 3 times a year.
A great time. Will definitely return.
Amazing energy for sunday morning brunch
Amazing! We had the synday brynch gospel there and it was incredible! The place, the food and of course the gospel part with amazing young singers who had the purest voices I've never heard
Our waitperson was friendly, courteous, and helpful, and our dinner was delicious. This is obviously a club for musical acts, because sightlines are poor for anything else (we saw tap dancer Michela Marino Lerman with her band, and could only see her footwork because we were right in front of the performing area). I would go back.
Incredibly delicious soul food and an awe-inspiring performance for Sunday Gospel Brunch
