Piccadilly is our flagship restaurant, set in a beautiful townhouse just off Regent Street, encompassing the ultimate Gaucho experience in the West End. Impeccable Argentinian steaks, flavours of Latin America and a perfectly curated drinks list are all enjoyed in uncompromised elegance in the former home of a Spanish Ambassador.
This impressive restaurant boasts a variety of unique spaces that soar over three stories. At ground level, you have our warm and welcoming dining room with adjoining weather-proof terrace. As you ascend the original sweeping staircase, you’ll find another dining space with a spectacular open kitchen, where we host our legendary Electro brunch, as well as a myriad of gorgeous private rooms – one inspired by our former Spanish resident.

I booked on open table with an offer included on arrival, staff was not aware of that and had to bring different menu printed on a small paper. The selection wasn’t amazing and the steak included a few parsnips as vegetables.
Service wasn’t amazing and overall felt that because we ordered from offer menu the attention wasn’t there. Why then offer if you not ready to deliver the service you are so proud of. Have eaten in lots of first class restaurants in Central London and didn’t like this one definitely. It’s my opinion so other people might have a better experience.
Apparently at the end there was supposed to be some sort of game included , roll of dice. Nothing like that happened. It’s not important but if you advertise something you should stick to it. Thank you
Food was very poor. Steaks were terrible. Macaroni was dry. Spinach bitter. Terrible for a family meal. Will avoid here for good. Was actually appalled as this was mean to be a flagship store.
Very well looked after from start to finish. Steaks excellent as usual Social distancing well kept to.
Fabulous food, and a really helpful and knowledgeable waitress for wine selection.
Just a bit too noisy
Brilliant restaurant, good value for location and quality. Waiters a little forgetful
Dissapointed with the overall experience. Dirty floor, dirty tables, music was too loud and ambience didn't correspond to the pricing of the food on the menu.
Highly recommend. Place, food, service all really outstanding.
Amazing food!
Lovely meal and atmosphere at Gaucho, as always. The food and service was excellent, as well as wine recommendations.
Quite expensive for food portion but overall the experience was great. Great service, tasty food and staff very friendly (:
Not sure of the waitress name but she she provided amazing service. The food was perfect the nicest steak I have had.
Had a lovely afternoon, the food, service and company was amazing. Well worth a visit
Service was very good. Friendly waiters and waitresses, very positive and professional. Definitely coming back soon. The food was also Amazing !
Perfect place . Steak was lovely, beautiful area, service was excellent
Beautiful fillet steak. Side dishes are very small but delicious. Especially the potatoes! Our waitress recommended a Malbec which also complimented the meal. Lovely!
Yummy! Will certainly be back soon.
Very good food & service, the only comment: it was starting to get very busy by 6.30pm, so felt uncomfortable with the noise level and lack of air-circulation. In current COVID situation, would prefer restaurant allowing fewer reservations.
Very good service and delicious food, the set menu was great value
We had a lovely evening! Food was incredible, service was impeccable and we felt very welcome and very well looked after. Steak was cooked perfectly and the chef even did us creamed spinach rather than the regular spinach. The lemon meringue pie was incredible.
Great decor, good service, but sadly very cold and lacking atmosphere. Food was average not what I expected.
Great service
Friendly staff
Highly recommend this place
Excellent meal with great service - what more can one ask for ?
Really poor.
When we arrived we were asked if we would like water. It took over 30minutes for the water to arrive and we had to pester a waitress for it!
It took over an hour for the main to arrive, we didn’t order a starter. There were only 3 of us and we all ordered the same thing, a roast, which wasn’t listed on the menu.
We were really poorly served, ignored for most of it. We did want dessert but didn’t want to wait another hour, we weren’t even asked if we wanted dessert anyway!
Won’t be returning. Try Hawksmoor down the road for a better roast and better service.
Beautiful food and amazing service as always 😍
I would have marked higher but they forgot the birthday dessert platter I had arranged with the manager on the phone two days prior.
Lovely place, amazing food and staff were super friendly and made our anniversary special. Thank you
massively disappointed with our experience. Having been to various Gauchos over the years including this particular one 5 times, this was by far the worse visit of all.
Firstly, were were surrounded by noisy children and screaming babies and a family that did not stop coughing, so we asked to move which was accommodated without any hassle.
Due to covid, most restaurants are handing you throw away paper menus and checking temperatures at the door. Sadly, Gaucho was not. We instead received sticky menus and our table was not particularly clean.
We ordered bread (which you now have to pay for) 2 x empanadas, followed by fillet steak (cooked medium/well) with chips and veg.
The bread arrived stone cold and dried out. The empanadas were basically a dry piece of pastry containing a cold thin spread of the filling (not the usual stuffed piping hot ones we are used to).
The steaks arrived oozing with blood and were rare. The sauce that I asked to be put on the side was plonked on top. and all the veg and chips were stone cold.
With no change from £160 we were not impressed.
It's no wonder Gaucho are in financial difficulties. We won't waste our money by going back
I had been keen to visit after being recommended to the restaurant by friends and it certainly lived up to my expectations
This was our first time at Gaucho Piccadilly. Everything was great except I felt that the lighting could be better. We had to use the torches on our phones to read the menus. We weren’t the only ones as other tables were doing exactly the same.
The food as always was great.
Amazing service, amazing food and beautiful decor. Highly recommended!
Great service, good environment given the Covid-19 restrictions. Pricey but worth it for a special occasion
Delicious food and very good wine. Fantastic service.
Bottomless for 1.5 hours. But the 15 minute wait to be served was taken into account in the 1.5 hours! Slightly underhand.... and waitress not exactly welcoming ...Felt like service in a cheap diner not what the expectation is from Gauchos... advice try maybe send staff to hawksmoor for a day to see how service is delivered.
We loved it! One of out favourite places. Food was excellent.
We came for the bottomless beef and bottle offer and we were not disappointed! The waiter was very friendly and attentive and ensured we were always topped up (with steak and the wine!) - would definitely return!
Dinner with our son the night before lockdown 2.0 we had a fantastic dinner and pre-drinks. The service was the notable standout for us with a great waiter who turned a kitchen nightmare around into a positive. Food (sausage sharing plate and ribeye) was very good and constant with previous memories. Cocktails were well made and hand crafted. The decor was cool, fun and certainly supporting a great meal experience. Two recommendations; guide the doorman to be more open, welcoming and friendly, (you don't get a 2nd chance to make a 1st impression!) and replace the sachets of salt and pepper with a proper grinder or loose and with quality ingredients.
Celebrated our son's 18th Birthday just before the 2nd major lockdown came into force. As always the food was outstanding and cooked to perfection. We had a friendly Turkish waiter called D. It was busy but relatively quiet which was understandable given current events. I love the food but do find it to be overpriced. The water and the tip were over £45! For a special occasion it was worth it. If the prices lowered we would be there all the time!
Very disappointed with the service, the food. It was really busy and the staff looked as if it was the first time it had been like this, I highly doubt it as it was located in Piccadilly. When the food arrived it was a piece of meat slapped in the middle of our plate. There was wow factor about. It was a meal I could have cooked at home. Definitely an over priced restaurant type of vibe. I informed the restaurant that it was my brothers birthday. Nothing special was done for this. I had also informed them I would arrive 15 mins late and asked if half of my party could be sat whilst I arrived and was told that would be fine to then make half of my party wait on the bar until I arrived. It was very inconvenient as they could have ordered whilst we arrived. Definitely would never return to Gauchos again.
Very disappointed.
Friendly staff!Rafa attended to us and he was very attentive! Great food! Great ambience!
