We are locals providing local flavor in a casual space. Our specialty is Fire. GALLO71, is a tribute to a Grocery store, El Gallo Abarrotes founded by the Chapa Family in 1923 in Monterrey, Mexico, thus the name. A tribute to regio´s carne asada take.

    Me gusta mucho pero como hice mi reservación por aquí, nos tuvieron esperando 30 minutos para darnos una mesa, no entiendo entonces para qué se hace una reservación

    Por segunda vez consecutiva, nos dieron la mesa que está pegada a la cocina. Se sentía mucho calor. Yo no se si es por haber hecho la reserva por OpenTable pero ya es mucha casualidad .

    Food is always great, quality and taste. Music was very loud; we had to ask them to tone it down. Aside from that, perfect as always.

    Todo muy bien, excepto por el platillo que pedí, el cual no había para servir, a pesar de estar en el menú, y es recomendable que si lo se tiene algún platillo, lo indiquen desde el principio.

    La comida muy buena, la atención del mesero excelente.... Pero primero nos quisieron dar una mesa en la #terraza# cerrada y el olor a cigarro es insoportable. Luego nos dieron mesa en el área del Bar, pero es demasiado ruidosa y se mete el humo de cigarro a pesar que hay un letrero que dice que es un "Espacio libre de Humo" Si van a reservar y quieren un buen ambiente asegúrense que sea en al área de restaurante. Mi reserva no decía que era área de fumar y tuvimos que aguantar el olor a cigarro durante la cena.
