Freddie's Beach Bar & Restaurant
Drag show was amazing, one of them gave my best friend a quick dance to celebrate her getting married, BJ severed us always joking around with us super fun, and nice, the owner freddie was great and gave my friend advice on love. They only thing i we had a problem with was everyone one was receiving their food at different times and the bride was basically forgot about other then that Freddies and by far the best restaurant I've ever been too and highly recommend!!!!
Always a great at Freddie’s !!
We are from out of town and when we come to DC we stop here for their Sunday brunch, it’s always a great experience and Freddy it’s always a super great host
Excellent service. The show was fantastic very engaging.
We read reviews giving Freddies 4 stars out of 5. Freddies is nothing more than a gay bar ( my wife and I have gay family and do not judge). The bar was cold (30s outside) and therefore we wore our jackets. Food quality was good but the menu is basicly bar food. Alcoholic drinks were watered down.
Always enjoy going to Freddies
Freddie’s hospitality and customer service was spot on, you really felt like you’re welcomed and wanted. Food was solid, ambiance lovely and fun. Freddie was super kind and walked us over to his other restaurant Fredricos, a trattoria just like the kind I grew up going to, will go visit soon. He was also nice to walk us over to a consignment shop, and got some real cool pieces. Thanks so much my lady loves it and wants to go ASAP
Not happy that my party of 2 was sat in the back next to the t-shirt case and ATM. As a result, we were disturbed and inconvenienced severs times.
Reservations were made a week in advance but still ushered to the back and could not see the stage of performers. However, we made it a point to tip every performer.
Very enjoyable Valentine's evening. Food was delicious as always, service was good, and ambience great!
The wait staff was annoyed that we did not go with the easy to administer brunch buffet. Also, the coffee was weak and tepid, the eggs were room temperature, no music. We had a reservation for 2, but brought a third person. Despite the fact that the restaurant was about 20% full, they put us at a high top in the back that is usually meant for 2 patrons. The other tables were empty for the duration of our meal. We could have sat at a table for 4, but NO! we had to sit in the back at the cramped table for 2. There was no music, no ambiance except shelves of Barbie dolls collecting dust.
Great way to spend a Sunday morning. Fabulous food, great service and time with friends.
Love the wall of barbies! Omelet and waffle station was great too.
We LOVE Freddie’s!!! My daughter and her friend wanted to celebrate their birthday (one day apart from each other) with the family friendly Sunday brunch. Freddie himself gave each of them goody bags and the staff sang and presented them each a cupcake. The staff is very professional, friendly, and the food is delish!!!
Always a pleasure there. It was a bit crowded but that just speaks to the quality of the experience. I'm not alone
I LOVE IT !! I will always be a supporter. Great food, cost, value, customer service always consistent and Freddie gives the best hugs. See you soon.
Freddie's Beach bar has a very friendly, neighborhood vibe. Our server was incredibly efficient and accommodating during brunch, which can be notoriously hectic. The food for the most part was typical neighborhood restaurant quality, although the fried pork was a pleasant and very tasty surprise. For the price and for catching up with friends in a casual, kitschy, low-key environment, you really can't beat it.
Service was good and the cost of food is reasonable. The Club Sandwich was amazing.
The atmosphere is awesome and the queens were amazing!! The service was horrible!!!! We ordered food that we never got. He never put in our order. Drinks took forever. I would go back for the queens but eat before I go
The ambiance was great, the staff was nice and friendly. Unfortunately the alcohol was of pretty poor quality - I didn't drink much that night but got very sick. The drag queen show was mediocre, I wish the Queens talked and danced more and made more jokes.
Freddie’s is, as always, a fabulous treat! Freddie himself is always present showing you how much he cares for his establishment in the community and loves his customers. From start to finish, his commitment to excellence is evident at every part of every meal I have ever enjoyed there for almost 20 years. I come from Gaithersburg as often as I can and I am ‘always’ well received by Freddie and his staff. I am happy from the moment I arrive until the moment I have to say goodnight.
If I ever own a restaurant or public service venue, I will take a page from Freddie’s book on how to treat your customers and run your labor of love.
Food, service and ambiance were exceptional. Highly recommended.
Our Sunday brunch was great. Freddie graduated two years after our class at Wakefield and does an outstanding brunch.
Freddie's continues to be the most entertaining venue in Crystal Pentagon City. The welcoming ambiance of the wait staff, sheer joy and energy of the Drag Show and great overall atmosphere make it my favorite bar!
I was a fun
Freddie's was the perfect place for our colleague's farewell dinner.
Great brunch ! Amazing services and Really not expensive !
I love Sunday Brunch at Freddie’s . Great value, great food,
great service, AND CHAMPAGNE! Get a bunch or friends together and sit on the outer deck. Even better on a lazy rainy Sunday!!
We love Freddie's brunch! $25 per person and you get four mimosas/champagne and a full buffet. The crowd is interesting and fun. The wait staff are always so nice and helpful. And we just love the decor.
Great local venue. Everyone feels like family.
We love Freddies! When we first moved to the area we found this treasure. We have never been disappointed. The food is amazing. The staff is amazing. The drag is amazing.
Great Thanksgiving Buffet!!
Definitely an eclectic but friendly vibe as you enter the restaurant. We went there for brunch and there were plenty of dishes to choose from even for me since I do not eat meat or cheese. Our server, James, made sure our drinks were replenished throughout our meal. Freddie himself, came to all the tables to say hello and inquire that everything is all right. Bonus that brunch came with either mimosas, bloody mary, coffee, tea, or soft drinks. We would definitely come back again.
As always, friendly and welcoming. Freddie and his incredible team know how to make each person feel special. Thanks again for an incredible brunch
I love Freddie's Beach Bar. My girls and I had a blast!! I took a friend again this time that had never been and she can't wait to go back!
Had another great meal. Appreciated the service we received from Steven as we had our granddaughter with us.
Always a wonderful time with great people! The best show in town.
We had an absolute blast! Our table was back in a corner, so we thought we wouldn’t be able to see the drag show, but the queens circle the room and really put on a wonderful show. Our service was beyond exceptional, thanks to Matt. He was attentive, personable, and did a fantastic job taking care of us. The food was delicious- we tried two appetizers and three entrees, and everything was really great. The prices are incredibly reasonable too, especially for DC. Our bill for 3 ended up being $110, which included two cocktails each. Thank you Freddie’s for a fantastic night!
Great service by our waiter. We went for Drag Bingo and it was a fun time had by all.
Loved our food and our server.
