Fornos of Spain
Amazing as always. Great food and better service.
Delicious food, giant portions, excellent service. Great night out with friends.
The quality of the food is just mediocre and lacks salt/flavor. They rush you and and out.
Need to improve attention to customers since waiter were not organized.
Excellent food and value. Bar was extremely crowded and difficult to get a drink
An outstanding dining experience all the way around. Everything delivered to the table was amazing. Service could not have been better.
Love this place. Been going since I was a kid.
Before our flight home... Most excellent
After taking a trip to Madrid I was looking for authentic food and this place definitely takes the cake! It is amazing! Just try Fornos of Spain and you will love it!
Before heading over to our Prudential Center for our MichelleO event, we made a stop at Fornos of Spain for dinner. What a find! Great service, delicious food with generous servings, and good ambiance!
Food and service exceptional and love the ambiance, worth another trip to Newark next time with friends and family
One of many visits for us, usually always order seafood or fish, decided to go with the ribeye. That was a mistake, it was fatty, tough and not enjoyable. Next time back we will stick with the winners, seafood and fish.
Amazing service, the paella is incredible and could easily be a meal for two. Great value for such a nice place.
Delicious grilled calamari. Filet mignon was cooked to perfection. My friend loved his paella.
Of course the sangria was amazing.
Great service, Great food, huge portions. Wait staff was amazing, all the food was prepared perfectly and served fast and hot. We never needed to ask for anything, water and sangria glasses never went empty.
Went to Fornos for lunch and it did not disappoint. Tons of food for the money although it is not cheap. Large salad as soon as you arrive with olives and garlic bread. We could have shared an entree but the salmon and chilean seabass were delicious. They came with a starch and veggies and they also brought out rice, veggies and potatoe chips to share. Sooo much food. We had 2 full meals out of this. Can't wait to go back and try the paella which looked amazing.
Great food and great atmosphere. Sangria is a must!
We had a great dinner. We did have our children with us so there could have been more kid friendly options but everything we had was excellent. The sangria is outstanding.
The food was good. The value might be good for people with extremely strong appetite. Less at a lesser cost would be better for us. Paula was an exception old school professional waiter and the highlight of this visit!
The shrimp in garlic sauce with the Spanish potato chips along with the yellow Spanish rice and salad is one of my favorite and go to dishes there; always delicious! The cod Croquettes are also one of my favorite appetizers on their menu!
Food, wine and service were all excellent. Very authentic, great portion sizes and just delicious!
Outstanding food, drink and service! Will definitely be back when I am in the Newark area.
Having dinner at Fornos has become a no brainer before events at the Arena. Food and service is excellent. You can pay $35 to park at an event, then another $90 on crappy beer and hot dogs. Or, you can go to Fornos, have a great meal, and leave your car parked there for the same money. Again, a no brainer.
As always an excellent experience.
I have traveled to Spain, and this is some of the best food that I've ever eaten--anywhere!! Love it!
As Always, we were not disappointed in the service and food. We have been coming to Fornos for decades and will always recommend this for quality spanish cuisine
We sat next to a very loud table. they were cursing and made the atmosphere unpleasant. the restaurant never said anything to them. being there with kids made us feel uncomfortable.
This is the way dining out should be. You order appetizers and entrees and they bring, in addition, a full salad, potato chips and vegetables to complement your meal. The Tortilla Espanol appetizer and my Branzino entrée were both perfect. The experience is worth the 18 minute trip, from Manhattan, on NJT, and the short walk from the Newark station.
Hadn't been to Fornos in a few years. Considerably improved ambiance, much more high-end (so not cheap). Great menu choices, large portions and delicious. Maybe a few lower-priced wines? And I think just a listing of the wines would allow easier selection; the wine book of labels weighs a ton. No problem parking.
As always, great food and good service. The veal is always my first meal choice and the pulpo appetizer is tender and tasty. The noise level increased around 5:30 as the room filled up with hungry families, but overall always a good place to go for a great meal.
Went for lunch with my brother who was flying to Portugal. Good salad, chicken in garlic sauce, clams, great food and very reasonable.
Everything about this restaurant was great. Upon being seated we were served a great variety of bread along with a complimentary salad. I'm not a big salad person but it looked so good I had to try it. It was so fresh and delicious I had to have seconds. The service and food was awesome. Can't wait to go back.
Group of 12 for reunion dinner. Excellent food and service. Prices on high side but portions large and we took the leftovers home.
Delicious meal and was star studded guest list. We met Hallie Berry there.
Def a great place to check out if you get stuck at a Newark airport hotel
Incredible food, authentic, full of flavor. Service was outstanding and will definitely return when I am in NJ next...highly recommend!!
Consistently good food and reliable for business dinner when visiting from out of town.
Great experience and good food.
Food was excellent Very nice atmosphere and service was very good
First time there before a concert. Reservation was held for us even though we were 10 minutes late. We liked the fact that we were served bread and salad before we were ever handed our menus. The Bacon wrapped Scallop in fig sauce is to die for as a app! Even though we were on a time constrain for the concert I ordered the Osso Bucco, which was the best I have ever had. Everything offered smelled great, and both our meals were perfect. The service here is top notch, the sangria is fresh and cold, nothing here to disappoint. Bustling on a Friday night at peak hour, and the service was spot on! Not to be missed when in Newark.
It’s a great place for a relaxed dinner with attentive service and authentic, delicious flavors.
