Tonight, was the same, even with two kids in tow, we knew we had to visit. We definitely ordered too much but there was no dish that I regret ordering, they were all so flavoursome and delicious. I particularly love savoury dishes and the roti prawn toast definitely delivered on the umami flavour front. The bug roll is signature and always needed. The truffle spring rolls were full of truffle and so delicious. The prawn hargow had huge chunks of prawn, super delicious. The oysters, natural and fried were fantastic opening appetisers. The drinks are always really great, especially the cocktails too! I was definitely in my “Golden Era” with the first cocktail. The views are unbeatable, even with a storm tonight. They do a kids menu and understand the importance of having the kids meal out quickly and first - love that. The lobster roll is tasty and the Asian salad is fresh and zingy and you can add protein. Desserts and coffees are great. The menu is simple but covers all options. Wine and beer offering is good. There are very few restaurants with this eye for detail. Alex and Karla Labart are to be congratulated for their consistent high standards. The food is always great quality, the service is lovely, friendly and efficient. We've always sat in the court yard out the back, which now has an awning in case it rains.
