The Braybrook Hotel is situated on Ballarat Rd in Braybrook and has recently undergone an extensive renovation, engaging all sections of the hotel creating a fresh and modern look, while also retaining a link to its rich history from the mid 1800’s. Only 20 minutes from the Melbourne CBD the Braybrook Hotel has plenty of off street parking and offers a range of award winning facilities. The first Braybrook Hotel is thought to have been erected around 1854, possibly in response to the demand from travellers to the gold fields. However, the earliest rate record found for this building was in 1863-4 when Charles Niven Young was the licensee and John Lang was the owner. These days the hotel is home to our ‘world famous’ all you can eat buffet with brand new Kids Play Area, multiple function rooms for all of your private and corporate needs, a state of the art TAB, modern gaming facilities, Sports Bar and extensive drive-thru Bottleshop that is open 7 days per week until late.

    The atmosphere service food everything was excellent and always is .The only complaint I had was the car park was absolutely packed we were lucky to get a spot but my guests had to park in a street behind the venue and one of them has a 92 year old mum. She did come back and drop her off then parked the car and walked over . That’s not the fault of the venue but there was one tradie with a van and trailer who took 4spots because he parked in the centre of two car parks 😡 I never complain but it’s not good when you have elderly who can’t walk far .

    We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, and once we chose our table they gave us menus and explained they would take our order when we were ready and to give them a wave and they would come over. There was no hovering or guessing they simply came over when we waved, explained things on the menu, were happy to modify one of the meals and bring extra gravy, so delicious you have to try! Meals were brought over in a very reasonable time and while there they noticed empty glasses and asked if they could bring some more drinks over. Honestly the level of service was exceptional and friendly, the value for money was also excellent and the atmosphere while quiet on the day can be noisy when full we were told, but there is a dedicated dining room with open fire, and dining in the bar as well as a beer garden outside, and considering the quiet streets is a tranquil place to relax and enjoy a drink and food. Highly recommended.
