We love it here. We came before for a wedding reception, and loved the bottomless chicken tikka. This time, what a lovely evening. Amazing cocktails, and a fantastic gin recommendation. We had a few small plates and a main. Just lovely. The staff really know what they are doing, and treated each table like royalty. Really recommend.
Excellent food and well presented. Enjoyed the visit and will come back.
Great food, nice atmosphere but service wasn’t great. We’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and go back because the food was so goodz
Beautifully prepared dishes with quality ingredients which elevated even standard dishes like rogan josh and chicken tika to a whole new level. The poppy seed and red Leicester cheese naan was outstanding.
The variety of small plates available also makes it straight forward to have a meal exactly matched to your taste, appetite and budget, and in an attractive and tasteful setting. However, it is a small restaurant and tables are set quite closely together, so not the place to discuss family secrets!
Service was pretty attentive without being obtrusive, but I do wish tap water was offered automatically. Well matched wines, and I really liked their own brand beer. We'll be back next time we are staying in the vicinity.
Very nice ambience, delicious food, deep cocktail list. Service is great. A little bit pricey.
On the plus side the service was great, food was tasty and the Indian gin was great. On the negative side the portions were tiny and we had to scramble to order more main courses as we ran out. Slightly more choice and variety would have been good
LOVED this place! Food - totally yummy. Modern Indian food at its finest. Tried some wonderfully new things I'd never heard. Staff were attentive and pleasant. Decor is gorgeous!
As we were coming from Switzerland, the restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel staff. The 5 of us (2 adults, 2 teenagers and 1 child) loved it, particularly the excellent food and the quality of the service and the warm welcome given by the staff. This is why my wife and myself decided to come again during our next trip which took place the next week end. We were equally satisfied and can therefore only recommend Flora Indica.
We absolutely loved our time at Flora Indica. The food was incredible and the service was absolutely outstanding. We will be back when next in London.
Excellent food and top service. Great menu with lots to choose from.
Wonderful experience. We had the special Christmas menu.
Extremely tasty, service was impeccable.
Will come again.
What a find! The food was outstanding, particularly the Chilli Tossed Fried Cashew Nuts snack, Jerusalem Artichoke Papdi Chaat small plate and Corn-Fed Bergamot Lemon Chicken Tikka & Makhani Sauce main dish. We also loved the Sautéed Curly Kale with Shredded Hispi Cabbage, Turmeric & Ginger side and Warm candy Beetroot Halwa, Amarkhand & Seasonal Berries dessert. Our server expertly navigated us through the extensive gin menu and recommended an Indian gin, which hit just the right note with our food. The service was top notch and the ambiance sophisticated yet relaxed. We are a family with 3 older teenagers, but other diners included several couples and an extended family with little ones. Walked from our hotel through a charming quiet Kensington neighborhood to get to the restaurant, which added to the fun of our evening. Will DEFINITELY tell everyone we know about Flora Indica!
Beautiful space, with excellent cocktails. Food was very good, not your take away curry here, but prices are a bit too lofty for what it is.
Delicious food. Service was great and had a lovely evening
We had a good time, food was tasty but we were disappointed by the tasting menu. Portion was too small compared to other tasting menus that we are used to in other country and in London. The decor is nice and so was the service. Cocktails were not available to order at 7pm.
The food was beautiful, lovely Indian dishes with a delicate twist. Staff are great and the atmosphere was ideal for our group. Will definitely be back.
I went to Flora Indica solo while in London for work. I was so impressed with everything about the place, from it’s playful yet elegant decor to the outstanding service to the fabulous food. Okra fries make a great appetizer with a gin drink. The sweet pea dish was exceptional, and small enough to enjoy as a starter and still have room for more substantial dishes. Salmon tandoori was beautiful and the Black Lentil and kidney bean dal also unique and delicious. I appreciated that even as a solo diner, I wasn’t rushed.
Always love this place! I’ve brought many new people here and continue to do it.
Having tried most of the high end Indian restaurants in London, I will be definitely coming back to this one where the food really stands out.
Set lunch menu was really nice and good value, restaurant was quiet and waiter was polite and responsive, I will be back!
Very friendly staff and exceptional food
Good range of both vegetarian and other dishes made with interesting ingredients. The flavours were excellent and varied - would strongly recommend a visit
We thought the food was pretty average. The lamb chops were excellent, the black lentils dish also great, as was the rice dish. But other than that, we felt it was very average. I will say though that the service was very good- friendly and professional.
Excellent food and service
Fresh indian food with great service and very responsible price plus offering to prepare Indian dishes that you desire , I’ll definitely visit again and recommend this beautiful place .
My husband and I love having Indian food in a London. We have our usual favourite places but the reviews and menu at Flora Indica intrigued us. We loved the integration of Scotland with India in the dishes. The selection of gins and wine list also excellent. This meal was one of the best we’ve had in a long time. Excellent service and beautiful ambience and decor.
Took my mum here for a nice lunch, the food and service were both amazing. The lunch set is a great deal and we loved every dish. The cocktails are a must try!! Much better experience than some of the more ‘popular’ Indian restaurants you find online!
We ordered small dishes. Duck, artichokes, softshell crab and paneer - amazing!
We visited at an off peak time so we’re the only ones there, but our experience was an extremely positive one. Food was great and service was very attentive.
We ordered over a dozen different dishes, and every one of them was delicious. Some of my favorites were the venison, the monkfish, and the artichoke. The spices are fragrant and wonderful, without being very “hot,” so everyone can enjoy the food. The menu features a large selection of local and international gins, and a good wine list. The service is top quality, with a friendly atmosphere. The location is a short comfortable walk from the Earl’s Court station. Our group had a great time, and I look forward to coming back again.
I wrote in the reservation my lactose issue but they just did not pay attention... poor food no value for money.... almost 50 pound for a few mediocre dishes was not worth it
Dear Paulus, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on Flora Indica. I'm very sorry to hear that our waiting staff didn't acknowledge your lactose dietary requirement, please accept my apologies on their behalf. I'm also sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy the food overall and I will send you a separate email to follow up on that. With best regards, Fabio Adler (marketing manager).
Lovely food and very friendly service. I don't normally like mild curries but the Makhani was gorgeous. Will definitely go back.
This is a lovely restaurant. Great food and service. They seemed very eager to please!
Excellent service and outstanding food. Great area. We would definitely go back. Try it thank me later.
Delicious Indian flavors.. some of the best I’ve ever had....wonderful service and atmosphere too.
Quality , unassuming restaurant, great ambiance, thoughtfully designed and different Indian menu, courteous service. A nice alternative to the large Fine Indian Dining options more centrally located. I will be back!
Response times v slow, drinks didnt arrive for a v long time after starters. Portion sizes are extremely small , cocktail mixing is below average
All four of us agreed this was the best Indian meal we’ve had.
Thank you to the team at Flora Indica for a fantastic evening!
Wonderful food and excellent service - only problem is it’s 3500 miles from home! We’ll be back next time we’re in town.
