Best game in town, by far. Highly recommended. Great food, worth the price.

Birthday, done in a very classy way.

Outstanding food as we had the Lamb and stroganoff. As good as it was, there is a restaurant in Livingston county that would have been about $75 cheaper for the same quality of food. But, it is in Oakland County and that is where the money is. Overall the service and food was great.

Food was good, as expected at a high end steakhouse. Nothing exceptional, just very good. Overall not worth the very high price, especially considering the disappointing ambiance and the poor service.

Service, or better the lack of service: Waiter was the worst I’ve experienced in any restaurant in a very long time. He was awkward, tired, unmotivated, disappeared for long times, never got water refilled even after asking, never brought bread after he announced that he will bring bread next, only asked if we wanted more wine after we had finished our meals. All that for $200 meal for two with an expected top of $40 plus. To make it worse he was wearing an old pair of shoes that were squeaking very loudly. Does the manager not notice this???? Just not nearly good enough - never again.

I’ve been there many times and enjoy the lobster and steak special they offer. However this time they brought the food too quickly and didn’t allow time in between to make the dinner more leisurely. The food and service were good as usual.

What a splendid and personally satisfying experience! Not only did the staff go out of their way to acknowledge our special occasion (Happy Birthday To Me!) with gifts and extras (homemade truffles in a gift wrapped box) but because we went on a Monday, their weekly special of Filet and Lobster Tail (which included bread, salad and dessert!) was a mere $50. Add a very reasonably priced bottle of Chardonnay... well we will definitely be coming back.

Had a 7:00 reservation and were seated promptly upon arrival. Our server Ryan did an excellent job. Very attentive but not overly intrusive. Food was good but not great? Temperature of dishes when served was just warm, could have been served warmer for sure. Favorite part of the meal was the Caesar salad, Fleming’s potatoes and the ribeye. Cooked perfectly, great flavor. NY strip was lacking flavor but cooked to preferred temp. Lobster tail was good size and presented well.

Lovely dinner, nice touches

We had an early reservations on a late Saturday afternoon. The dining floor was about a third full. We were seated promptly and were served attentively throughout. I ordered a steak that was expertly cooked to my very exacting specification...medium with a little bit of char on the outside but pink to warm center... and it was delicious. The sides were great too. Portions were ample. My spouse had the sea bass and it was excellent as well. It was my birthday so our server sang Happy Birthday and offered a desert compliments of the house. We had our photo taken too! All in all a delightful dining experience and worth a repeat.

What a wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary. They really go above and beyond with food,service, and ambiance. Rose petals on table, complimentary champagne, card, a framed picture of us, and a box of chocolates to go. We would come even without all these special touches. Our server Pam was amazing and the food was perfect. We’ve been coming to Fleming’s to celebrate special occasions for years and will continue in the future.

We had stopped patronizing Fleming’s awhile ago because the food was not up to par and the value was not there. However we decided to try once more and truly noticed that the food was MUCH better. Also it didn’t hurt by having a prix fixe menu. Service was great! Exceptional overall evening! Will certainly return again. Nice touch as always the pic for a birthday commemoration.

Most of our family celebrations are held at Fleming’s in Livonia. We have been enjoying both the food and ambience for many years. And while dining either with family or just the two of us, we have encountered Dafina Goci, one of the waitstaff. Truth be to,d, we only make reservations if she is working! Dafina is the ultimate in waitstaffing with both her engaging personality and knowledge of the menu. Our dining experiences are always outstanding with this young lady.

Frederick is what makes Fleming’s worthwhile. The Filet’s were not tender & the Lobster was on the small side, but Frederick’s service was 5 star. He is a great waiter.

We took my father for his 85th birthday. They had a card and some confetti on the table for him, which was a very nice touch.

We started with cocktails. I had a crafted cocktail, which was excellent, others had wine or neat drinks, which are pretty standard.

We all selected the pre fix dinner, which was an excellent deal. It included a regular or Cesar salad, both of which were delicious, lobster and steak and dessert.

As I said, everyone loved their salads. The lobster was good, but the steaks had some problems. Although I ordered my steak medium rare, there was no red or pink in it, definitely medium to medium well. Our waiter had to be flagged down, in a non busy restaurant. He apologized and took it back for another. My father ordered his steak medium and parts were too rare for him to eat. My brother ordered his medium and there was actual char on the steak that gave it a burnt taste. I'm shocked that a steak house had such a hard time cooking steak to the desired temperature.

We had a choice between carrot cake and key lime pie. Everyone was pleased with the dessert. They finished the meal with a birthday picture for my father and provided a box of chocolates, which was a very nice touch.

All in all, the service was good, the meal choice was very nice, but if they want to compete with the major players in this market, they need to improve the quality of the steak and be able to cook it to the customer requests.

Amazing steak better atmosphere all around wonderful place

Food was prepared very well. Service was fine. Atmosphere was nice. This is the type of restaurant you would select for a special occasion; it is quite pricey for an every day dining experience. But food is delectable.

We go all the time for Sunday brunch. The attention to food quality as well as the personal attention by each member of the staff is always top notch!!

Best filet we've had in the Detroit Metro area! Exactly as expected.

My husband and I have been to Fleming's many. many times and have been very pleased with our meal. This visit was less than stellar. We were seated promptly and our order was taken quickly. Our appetizer and salads arrived in a reasonable time. However, we had to wait about an hour for our entrees to arrive!! We both ordered our filets done medium. Mine was practically mooing on the plate....very rare. My husband's was more like medium-well. In hind-sight, we should have sent them back, but we didn't want to wait another hour. We ended up swapping our filets, as my husband doesn't mind rare and I don't mind medium well. Just a bit of a disappointment when you spend so much money to go out to eat. We will just say it was a bad day and see what happens next time.

Perfect as always!

My sister and I received top notch treatment celebrating our joint birthdays. It started with the birthday card waiting on our table, then the photos that were taken of the two of us toasting and put in frames, then the lighted birthday candles accompanied by house-made truffles in a pretty, ribbon-wrapped box. Oh, and the food was fabulous as was the wine. We chose the Duckhorn uncorked and tasted three different wines. So glad we did! We'll not soon forget our special night at Flemings!!

Last night was a revisit that they offered us due to bad service back in February. To say we were overwhelmingly pleased is an understatement. First they allowed us to come back 6 months after our last visit to try them again, then they paid for our entire meal and then gave us Pam M. as our server which was the best part. She was knowledgeable, friendly, kind and never once made us feel rushed. She knew what we needed or wanted before we did. We’ve never had a better waiter/server before and we told her so. We will definitely request her and suggest others do so. Last evening was a picture perfect example of customer service from the valet, front desk, wait staff, etc. Great job on making my husband’s birthday celebration and our revisit a special time!!

Great experience. Jason went above and beyond to ensure my wife’s birthday was outstanding. He had the table decorated and started us out with complimentary champagne. The pace of dinner was relaxed and the food was prepared to perfection.

Ambience was less than ideal. The group at the table next to us were loud and vulgar with no shortage of profanity. They eventually settled down so I wondered if someone might have finally asked them to settle down. Fortunately they left during our main course so the rest of the dinner was peaceful.

Dinner ended on a great note. While we were waiting for our desserts, Jason treated my wife to a wonderful glass of Honig. The desserts were excellent and Jason had our car waiting when we were ready to leave. Can’t wait for our next night out. Thanks!
