Looking forward to our next visit.
Just gorgeous. We had the fish platter starter which had bits of all our favourite starters like salmon, mackerel, mackerel pate and then Cornish hake with champ mash plus sides of spinach and samphire etc. They had Ruinart Rose, our favourite champagne, so we had half a bottle of that to start the evening off followed by a bottle of Gavi. Lots of delicious flavours.
Once I had worked out you have to walk through the wet fish shop to get into the restaurant I was pleased to find a buzzing place with great garlicky wafts from the next table’s scallop dish.
We had the £18 two course prix fixe. My whitebait starter was great, and the cod and chips main course both large and outstanding. Really good quality fish, perfectly cooked. My choices might sound a bit “pub grub” but the menu had plenty of more sophisticated dishes.
Great value and highly recommended. Bought three kinds of oysters from the wet fish shop on the way out for a lovely supper at home.
I feel the menu needs updating, as it never seems to change.
Excellent service and delicious food!
Delicious, fresh food excellently cooked. Staff were accommodating and friendly, great service and didn’t rush us out of the restaurant, we were left to enjoy ourselves and our time at Fishworks, it was an all round excellent evening and dining experience.
Seafood sharer for two was enough also to have our daughter take a share from it.
Found wine and desserts a bit pricey.
Waitress could smile a bit more and keep a closer eye on tables towards the end of their meals, especially if with a sleeping child.
First time there and it won't be the last! Super food and service, coupled with an amazing fishmonger out front.
Great atmosphere and delicious seafood! Nice to have a quiet corner and talk with friends over a leisurely meal.
FishWorks is one of the best fish restaurants I know. The freshness and the quality of the food is always great! A long-time favourite of mine.
The most unique aspect is walking through the shop in front to get to the restaurant behind. You know the seafood is fresh! And there was quite a range of dishes. We were grateful to book a last minute reservation via OpenTable as we'd been meaning to go and just happened to be nearby without dinner plans. Very attentive service. High quality food; the taramasalata starter was particularly good. If we lived a bit closer, we would likely go often. A fun, casual coastal theme is tastefully done throughout.
Amazing fresh fish, great service! Nice to have a place that is seasonal with interesting preparations.
the whole restaurant smells like fish. waiter took our order wrong and blamed us for it. really disappointed.
Nice cosy restaurant and great service. The food quality was excellent and good value. Will definitely come again.
Our family had a wonderful time! Such a hidden gem restaurant, one that we will return to whenever we are in London. Amazing food, wonderful service, and the perfect calm ambiance!
Another lovely meal at Fishworks
Great but in the booking you asked for the occasion- I ticked birthday dii ok expected at least someone to acknowledge that- Boone mentioned it ah why bother asking what occasion it is in the booking?
Great food, well prepared, well presented, great taste, and excellent service too.
The carpaccio was dry, the tuna steak was rubbery and dry, and they were out of lobster on Valentine’s Day.
Annoying waiters kept coming over, asking us for drink (weren't even given a drinks menu), food was nothing special, prices were quite high, only special thing is that the restaurant was hidden behind a fish monger front
Lunch at Fishworks consistently good. Thoroughly recommended.
Nice Spot, Friendy staff and good choice of fish , very enjoyable
Fishworks is my usual place and always had a good meal but on this occasion I was rather disappointed. We ordered the 3 tier and the grilled fish was soaking in butter. Service was fairly basic, not easy to get the attention of the waiter.
Excellent restaurant. Always enjoy our visit and would thoroughly recommend it. The fish, of course, is always superb.
Delicious food, perfectly cooked. Service excellent. I would like to go again.
Variety of fresh fish, very good side dishes. International and very broad selection of wine. Service was very nice as well.
Fish was excellent and very well cooked
All in all very nice evening at Fishworks
Fantastic food and service. Lovely welcome and great atmosphere.
Great service, great food. Relaxed atmosphere and very good value for money. I would recommend to anyone.
Another very high quality fresh fish meal at great value due to 40% January special reduction.
We have been coming to FishWorks for many years. It is one of London’s best fish restaurants providing the freshest ingredients which are skilfully prepared. The service is very good and the staff friendly and dedicated. I was never disappointed.
Just lovely food and good service
We had the £18 menu which was great value.
Tasted lovely and nicely served.
If you order drinks, coffees and deserts it ends up being a lot more but still hugely enjoyable and never fails to deliver.
Consistently good food and friendly service. Highly recommend! .
Everyone in our party of four enjoyed the food and the wine with only praise for the kitchen. The waitress was attentive but relaxed, which we appreciated. The restaurant had the feel of a great neighbourhood place with a mix of locals and commuters. The bill does add up but to be just we had more than our fair share of drinks. We would definitely go there again.
The set menu was reasonably priced but the extras eg bread and a veg or potato to support the main course bump up the price.
My starter was bland and I did not enjoy it.
We enjoyed the Meal thoroughly... Only suggestion is to improve on the filleting of the Sea Bass....especially in a restaurant dedicated to serving excellent Fish...
