Fire Works - Arlington Ratings and Reviews
We went to celebrate my sisters birthday. Food was good, service very average. My sister ordered a beverage that never showed, all the food came at the same time (despite asking that salads come first). I also asked for a candle on the dessert ordered which was forgotten - and quite annoying to have to send back and ask again. I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant for a special occasion.
So impressed with the service team's skill to quickly accommodate our party's needs. Nothing like a group of seven who needed to change tables when the humidity on the lovely patio became uncomfortable. Great attitude of true hospitality and the food was amazing! Can't wait to visit again soon.
Really wanted to like this restaurant as it looks so nice, but for me was disappointing. I ordered the mussels with french fries - and they came with the french fries on top of the mussels so they were all soggy so didn't eat many of them. Also - didn't get a glass with my bottle of soft drink, my friend didn't get the dressing she requested - we had to wait awhile for everything we asked for - including a glass for my soft drink - and there were not very many people in the restaurant. My friend had been before and really liked it - but she said this time it was really average. Disappointing - but I've come to expect that with a lot of middle of the road restaurants. If they're good once - they're usually not the next time as they're inconsistent. Won't go again.
Great food, great drinks, excellent draft and bottle beer selection. They really take pride in the food they make and it shows. Devin has been our bartender and server on more than a few occasions and he is one of the best we have ever had, and that extends beyond just fireworks, the way he interacts with tables is the one of the big reasons why people enjoy dining out.
Food was just ok, nothing spectacular. Pizza sauce was "sugary" type of sweet which took away from the toppings. Large beer selection just didn't recognize many of the names so couldn't say if it was good or not. Good ambiance, service was good. Close walking distance to hotels.
I used to come here all the time when we lived in Arlington and now that we are further out we come less frequently.Fire Works was always one of my favorite pizza places -especially in Arlington. Their calamari is absolutely amazing which is sort of crazy for a pizza place. I've tried almost all of their pizzas and they have almost always been great. Once or twice it just wasn't a flavor combo I loved -but my husband loved them!
Sadly, I will say that their wine list seems to be less diverse, and service wasn't great. I constantly felt like the waiter was trying to push us out of the restaurant -which she eventually did and we left to go to another restaurant to have several more drinks and dessert. So that's just money wasted on their part. I know flipping tables is one way to make money, but we would have spent quite a lot more there had we stayed. To be honest, we probably won't go back since the whole experience was just very average.
Fire Works was a cute pizza place in Arlington. The pizza was good, and the price for a 10" was really reasonable ($12 for enough food to really fill you up!). The options were great, too; lots of house pizzas and a make-you-own option. The venue was really open inside, with great natural light and a TON of outdoor seating. We'll definitely come back when it's warmer outside. On a Sunday afternoon it was pretty quiet, even though there were a decent amount of people there; the big space makes it feel intimate even with a reasonable crowd.
I go to Fireworks regularly. Whenever I have friends that like pizza and beer, we immediately head there. The pizzas are good with a good variety. The beer selection is excellent and the staff knows their beers. I really enjoy Fireworks and will continue to go there.
I LOVE the Guadalajara pizza (basically a spicy taco pizza). I enjoy pizza as much as the next person, but I'm the sort who infinitely prefers foreign dives to American cuisine. The guys I was out with had the Quattro Carne and the Segundo pizza. They were very happy with their choices. We also got wings, which looked great, but I never bother with wings. Our server did a good job too. If I have to go to boring places, at least I know here I will get good service and get the Guadalajara pizza .
Great place with a large window facade open and widely enlightened. We had a great family time. The waiter was particularly attentive and kind. The pizza were delicious and quickly served. The outdoor sitting was great and particularly adapted for kids who would need to run in the large patio outside. We will definitely come back!
As always, very good food and while we didn't have any beer I always now it's a great choice. My only criticism, that I always have, is that the booths are very tight and crowded...tough to do a business meeting. The "bigger tables" with more room are always reserved for large parties.
