Fireworks on the weekend is always busy. Our waiter was excellent. I feel the pricing is a bit ridiculous. This use to be a neighborhood gem and starting to feel pretentious.
Food and beer was delicious. Server was a bit inattentive.
Would go again
I was meeting with a business friend in Arlington so we chose this place based on the reviews and menu prices being pretty attractive. Being a foodie, I went with a high expectation on their pizza - compared to places such as Matchbox, their pizza was a-OK. My $9 lunch pizza special ended up being $11 with an add on, and size of the lunch pizza was tiny... Probably won't be returning to this place anytime soon. Very convenient dining spot for Courthouse area nonetheless.
Just returning from Italy, the pizza here was disappointing. Really not fair to compare, but they were voted best pizza in Arlington.
Phenomenal service. Jodie was fantastic!!!!
Huge selection of adult beverages, authentic wood fired pizza.
Great pizza and beer selection
Friendly service; excellent pizzas; good prices. Nothing not to like!
All was good until our server basically told us we needed to leave because they needed the table. Good food and service until that point. We had finished eating and decided against dessert and were talking, and he kept coming by asking if we needed anything else. I don't give a damn if you order or don't order coffee, dessert, etc., you NEVER, NEVER tell a party they are holding up a table. Pretty much ruined the whole experience. Probably won't return because of that.
Very casual, we were not rushed out, waiter was very good (Chris), brought me samples of beer styles I like to try without even asking. We went to meet close friends, and wait staff was unobtrusive and recognized it was about being with friends. Food was fine, and the reservation we made was honored on time. They even sat us early before our friends came and did not make us wait. Fire Works is usually a safe bet for reasonably priced food, good beer and good service. And its not too loud.
Service is horrible.
Decent pizza. Very loud and hard to hear person sitting across from me. Too many TVs which were a distraction during dinner.
Delicious gluten free pizza! Love this place - always a great go-to for pizza.
Great gluten free options and the service is always good.
Ordered a Greek salad and a prosciutto and mushroom small pizza. The salad was soggy and arrived a bowl that was too small to adequately mix and the feta cheese with the greens. The pizza crust was charred, the mushrooms were canned and the prosciutto was much too salty. In addition the center of the crust was soggy. The beer selection, however, was copious and the service was excellent. If only the pizza was as good.
Been here several times and it’s always great! Wish they had a happy hour though.
This was our 3rd visit with a group of family members after attending services at Arlington National Cemetery. Food is delicious, varied menu, vegan options, great non-alcoholic beverages and beer selection. Highly recommend for ambience and great service.
We love the Fire Works restaurant in Leesburg and thought we would give the Arlington location a try. The Arlington location is 2 miles from The Kennedy Center and the ambiance was much nicer than the Leesburg location. Trying to fit into the urban bar scene, they cook the hot cookies in ramekins while Leesburg cooks the cookies in the black cast iron skillets. Frankly, the cookies and calzones taste better at the Leesburg location. Would definitely consider the Arlington restaurant again if we were heading in that direction but would not make a special trip to eat there.
Our party of 7 grew to 12 with last-minute friends who were able to join us for the meal. It took a few minutes but the staff were able to change our table to a different location to accommodate everyone. We also had a person in our group with a soy allergy. The chef came out to personally speak to her and her parents and created a meal specific to her needs. The wait staff gave honest recommendations for drinks and the food was filling and delicious!
Fireworks never disappoints! It is a great place for sharing foods for large parties. Also has a great beer selection!
Fireworks has been, and continues to be, one of the best restaurants in Arlington.
Fireworks is a destination restaurant. More than pizza, although the pizza is wonderful, Chef Thomas has done a wonderful job of putting together a modern, excellent menu. Staff, without exception, are wonderful, friendly, and there to meet your needs. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation.
The food was great as always, but the service was off. I noticed other tables got bread - we were never offered it. Nor were we offered dessert. or a second drink. They were quick to take away the silverware - so quick we had to ask for another set (we had to flag down the server to order another appetizer). We finished eating 45 minutes before our movie and contemplated going out for a coffee in between - but by the time we got the check and paid we barely made the movie.
Always a go to spot in Arlington for excellent pizza, served quickly and efficiently. Enjoyed the salad I ordered too.
They have great gluten-free options, but I discovered this weekend that the gluten-free items beyond the pizza are even better.
Had a party of twelve. We were seated after about 15 minute wait. Staff did a great job and the entire party enjoyed their dinner.
Was in for quick lunch. Had the Cesare Salad with chicken. I would recommend, however be careful on half and full size.
Great staff!! New patio furniture is fantastic for groups and for people watching !!!
We went to celebrate my sisters birthday. Food was good, service very average. My sister ordered a beverage that never showed, all the food came at the same time (despite asking that salads come first). I also asked for a candle on the dessert ordered which was forgotten - and quite annoying to have to send back and ask again. I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant for a special occasion.
So impressed with the service team's skill to quickly accommodate our party's needs. Nothing like a group of seven who needed to change tables when the humidity on the lovely patio became uncomfortable. Great attitude of true hospitality and the food was amazing! Can't wait to visit again soon.
Really wanted to like this restaurant as it looks so nice, but for me was disappointing. I ordered the mussels with french fries - and they came with the french fries on top of the mussels so they were all soggy so didn't eat many of them. Also - didn't get a glass with my bottle of soft drink, my friend didn't get the dressing she requested - we had to wait awhile for everything we asked for - including a glass for my soft drink - and there were not very many people in the restaurant. My friend had been before and really liked it - but she said this time it was really average. Disappointing - but I've come to expect that with a lot of middle of the road restaurants. If they're good once - they're usually not the next time as they're inconsistent. Won't go again.
Excellent food! My husband and I split a salad, sandwich, and chips and it was very yummy. Well worth a visit!
Peggy was the best!!! Love the atmosphere, food was incredible, drinks were amazing!!
My friends met up at Fireworks before a movie. We ate pizza and salad and shared. I also sat at the bar and the bartender was great. Highly recommend. We ate outside on a nice summer night.
Great food, great drinks, excellent draft and bottle beer selection. They really take pride in the food they make and it shows. Devin has been our bartender and server on more than a few occasions and he is one of the best we have ever had, and that extends beyond just fireworks, the way he interacts with tables is the one of the big reasons why people enjoy dining out.
Great food. Food came out faster than normal which was great. The service was great as well, large beer selection and excellent sangria
