Best Hot Spot Restaurants in Chingford

What a gem of a restaurant. Having seen Dara cooking on Saturday Kitchen we knew the food would be good. Some tasty bread and olive oil was followed by well crafted main courses of Chicken Milanese and Italian Meatballs which set us up for the quite outstanding Panacotta. Our lunch was much enhanced, too, by our server Dana who was ever attentive. And thank you too, Dara, for taking the time to chat to us at our table afterwards. We hope to return. Chris and Sarah.

Service was friendly and very helpful. 3 of the party ordered fish pie. 1 was cold and not cooked. They very quickly removed all the fish pies. All new ones returned and full refund. Very apologetic. Apart from that small problem all other meals yummy.

Wife was in the mood for an American-style smokehouse and this place was just what we were looking for. We had the pork belly and the beef rib trays and were very pleased. Good value, generous portions, great taste, nothing was overcooked, good wines too. Very good service, we pretty much stayed until closing time. We will definitely return.

First time at Just Meat and couldn't fault a single thing. Food was amazing, even with my fussy teens! Atmosphere was great and they made such a fuss over my daughter for her birthday....Will defo be returning. Thank you for a great experience

Dalston Jazz Bar is a fantastic find. The night we went the Jazz Quartet was playing a range of standards and were really professional and high quality. The food was a revelation - 5 course fish menu at a set price and a range of delicious desserts. Each course was a delight, really fresh produce and beautifully prepared and cooked. The service was friendly and professional and the overall ambience was great. For a meal of this quality and quantity £40 pp was fantastic value. Where I live (on the Isle of Skye) a meal like this would cost a minimum of £100pp. I unhesitatingly recommend a visit to this excellent establishment.
