The music was initially too loud but then the music system broke so it was way better. We had an outstanding waitress and she was fabulous. Enjoyed the food and drinks very much

Perfect seafood restaurant for date night. All staff were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was cosy even though tables were almost full. Complimentary sourdough bread along with a clam chowder shot were great. Oysters were fresh and served with a zingy vinaigrette. The highlight was a perfectly cooked barramundi with fennel and orange. Not cheap, but a bit spesh. We’ll be back!

Had a wonderful dinner at Waterfront Southgate. It was a beautiful summer evening during the Australian Open - weather was perfect and we sat outside overlooking the promenade and Yarra River. We chose the only have mains and our whole group found meal delicious and good value for money. I had the Toothfish which was sensational and it was great that it came with some Asian style vegetables. Very busy restaurant but service was great.
