- UUriNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoLiterally one of the nicest, best, places I have ever been to. I’m almost speechless… the view is fantabulous - and… if you wander a little, it just.gets.better. The nook in the back. The outdoor terrace. The area just inside from the outdoor terrace. Lighting - perfect. Openness - perfect. Just. Perfect. Even the bar is beautiful. Food was excellent! Avocado corn salad was incredibly fresh. Crispy salmon was insane. Brussel sprouts done well. Oh! Drinks! Perfectly mixed (okay… so they didn’t have my blue curaçao, no points deducted). And, I’d be remiss if I didn’t end with accolades and praise for Leiby, our server. She was… kind, capable, friendly, funny, welcoming…. Go here.More infoWaterside Restaurant and Catering$$$$• Mediterranean• North Bergen•4.8
- RRosaleaPhilippines •8 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoLet me start by saying we reserved a table for our anniversary on a Thursday and experienced their "Tomahawk Thursday" event, and the experience exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, the customer service felt deeply personal. The staff went above and beyond, with almost everyone greeting us with a happy anniversary, and we were touched to find personalized menus waiting for us, alongside a complimentary glass of champagne to start our evening. The Tomahawk was the undisputed star of the table. The moment it was brought out, it was a magnificent giant of a steak, filling the air with the incredible aroma of fresh meat grilling. We ordered it medium-rare, and it was ridiculously tender, juicy, and cooked to absolute perfection. For our sides, we chose the broccolini and mushrooms, both seasoned and prepared deliciously well. We finished with dessert, the flourless chocolate cake and the mango passion fruit mousse, both thoughtfully decorated with a "Happy Anniversary" chocolate sign. Outstanding! Beyond the incredible meal, the ambiance was calm and elegant with books on the wall and a whole glass wall with the downtown Manhattan as your view. Nestled right with a view of downtown Manhattan at its doorstep, the lighting and decor are tasteful without feeling overdone. The trio playing live jazz added a gorgeous ambience to the room. Our server hit the exact right balance: attentive and always on cue when needed, but never intrusive. This dining experience was worth every penny and more. Driving down here will officially become a new anniversary tradition for us. Tip on Parking: Parking is free! Just make sure to enter your license plate number into the kiosk at the front desk when you check in so your car gets registered.More infoMaddy Rose at Liberty House$$$$• Contemporary American• Jersey City•4.6
