Best Seasonal Restaurants in Covington

We went to The Dakota for our anniversary. Positives: the food was good but not amazing; our table server was absolutely amazing; the ambience is very pretty although we were in a smaller room and it’s not as lovely as the rest of the restaurant; the cocktails were really good and generous; the prices were not outrageous. Negatives: we had a reservation and still had to wait 30 minutes for a table; the bartender took our order, did not make our drinks; walked away and started doing other things and then forgot what we had ordered; the specialty soup was really bland and the bone marrow bones seemed a little old; they seemed to be out of a few things. It’s a good restaurant and worth a visit. I don’t think I would go back for a special occasion but maybe for a regular dinner-out evening.

We are unfamiliar with Israeli and Lebanese food, so we were guessing, with help from our waiter. Of the 5 things we picked, we really liked 3, so not bad. We are looking forward to going again and trying some other things.

Service was excellent! Food was perfect! Ambience was exceptional. Couldn’t have expected more. Definitely recommend for special occasion or anytime!

My first time visiting the English Tea Room. The food, service and atmosphere were incredible. Going back tomorrow for a bridal tea and can't wait.
