Best Romantic Restaurants in Jamul

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Bull and Bourbon. And it was a dining experience. We didn’t go to Sycuan for any other reason. Our waiter, Daniel, was knowledgeable about the wine I asked about and our food choices. He was on the spot with anything we needed as was everyone else. This appeared to be the case at other tables too. While the prime rib special portion isn’t as thick as shown in some advertising, it’s very good, as are the sides. We ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer, which was excellent. Also ordered the basic Mac & cheese - very good. The atmosphere is really special. Someone put a lot of thought into the decor. High end yet comfortable. We’re definitely going back and are looking forward to it.

The place is very small and the lines are long to get food. Our waiter brought us drinks and disappeared, half hour later without asking if we needed something else she brought us the check and disappeared again. I had to chase her down for more drinks. The food was excellent as always!

Delicious food and great service. The quality of the food is exceptional! Great wine selection and cocktails.
