In a world of famous chefs owning multiple restaurants Olive and Rose is a unique stand alone restaurant. In a small travel court hotel in downtown Long Beach Lauren and her brother opened a very intimate restaurant. Their intention was to serve small menus to small crowds with shockingly excellent food and service. It is evident they do not chase the money, they chase excellence in food and service knowing the money follows. A great little romantic restaurant…👏👏👏👏👏👏

This was my third visit for afternoon tea, and once again, the experience was absolutely impeccable! Bill, Melissa, and Christine are the perfect hosts. Their warmth, attention to detail, and exceptional hospitality make every visit special. I look forward to coming back again!

We could not have had a better time last night. Capones was amazing…AGAIN! Yes, we’ve returned there a number of times for special occasions. Our server, Nicole, was so wonderful, knew all about the menu and its ingredients. She knew the wine list backward and forward and recommended an excellent bottle for dinner. The pasta is always fresh and delicious and one of us had the lasagna, which was incredible. We shared a large salad for the table and gobbled down the fresh, hot, soft bread they kept bringing. Really, could not have been impressed with Capones.

Went for the buffet (multiple discs with Knotts season pass). The thick sausage links were flavorful & lean. Potatoes nicely spiced & French toast as well as bacon tasty. Small selection sm Danish flavorful. Nice outdoor dining courtyard & restaurant nicely decorated/relaxing. Endless juices, coffee/tea & sodas included made price seem reasonable.

Traxx is surprisingly good for a restaurant in a major train terminal. The food is well-prepared and the service is excellent. We meet friends there for lunch, with all of us arriving by Metro, Metrolink or Amtrak. They accommodated our group of eight with no problem. It is quiet enough for a business lunch.

We had the most fabulous time at Neon Sun!! What a great little neighborhood gem! The food was outstanding and Satori (owner) was the best! She was so energetic and stoked on life. You know a place is legit when the owner is serving tables too, like a real boss!! Atmosphere was cozy and felt like home away from home. Can’t wait to come back and bring all our friends!
