Best Restaurants for Birthdays in West Islip

Everything was the best , from waiter to food !!!

We enjoyed delicious appetizers and entrees at Argyle. The crab cake appetizer was a generous size and flavorful as was the fried artichoke hearts. The five baked clams were a decent size and perfect for one person. The lobster bisque was flavorful and creamy. The lobster Milanese special for $46 was excellent. The eight ounce lobster tail was meaty and the vegetable risotto and champagne lobster sauce were excellent accompaniments. The Australian strip was cooked perfectly and delicious as well as the steak and salad option. The blackened skirt steak pasta was also excellent and the portion was very generous. We chose the apple cobbler for dessert which is shareable and enjoyed by all of us. We had a drink at the bar during happy hour before our dinner reservation and enjoyed our pomegranate martinis!

Their Detroit pizza is amazing! Dinners were delicious too!

From cocktails to desert - everything was great. Special mention were the mussels and pork chop - some of the best we have ever had. Service was exceptional from the bar service to our server. We will be back.

Phenomenal food, environment and staff. Management came to check on us several times.
