We had a lovely winter afternoon at The Royal Oak in Burford yesterday. The pies were delicious, and Daniel was such a polite and welcoming chap. My wife and I really appreciated the friendly service and warm welcome. It made our visit all the more enjoyable. A lovely pub with a great atmosphere — we’ll definitely be back!

We went for the Sunday roast and it did not disappoint. I had the roast pork and my friend the roast beef. It was excellent. Burford's best kept secret and very reasonably priced.
