- GGabrielLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWas a little hesitant about my reservation because of the reviews of bad service. Personally though my experience was great here. Came on a Sunday night and sat in a nice booth with my party. Our waitress was kind, patient and accommodating. Clean place, tasteful music at a quiet volume. Would love to come back. Food could be a little better for the price, but still enjoyed.More infoLAVO Los AngelesPrice: Expensive• Italian• West Hollywood•4.6

- MMichaelLos Angeles •152 reviews4.0Dined on 5 Jan 2025I'm glad we ordered off both menus because we all preferred the selections off the regular menu. The salad with the endives was a real winner, the salad with the duck skin was lost on us. The duck bread pudding was a quirky idea that actually worked quite well on the plate. I'm glad we got to try the pressed breast because we had read a lot about this dish. The cassoulet on the side was the best cassoulet, hands down, we all have ever had. The chocolate souffle was really good but the apple tart wasn't a favorite. The service was very attentive and friendly. They have some great signature cocktails on the menu, and I liked being able to order a glass of a good Bordeaux. If we went back, we all agreed we would order off the regular menu. The endive salad for an appetizer and ask if they could make the cassoulet as a main course. (and of course pair it with a glass of that great Saint-Estephe)More infopasjoliPrice: Very Expensive• French• Santa Monica•4.6

Just make sure you get out of there within two hours to take advantage of the parking validation, as I paid $21 for 3.5 hours!More infoBar Verde – Nordstrom at the GrovePrice: Moderate• American• Beverly / Fairfax / La Brea / Third St.•4.4
- AAnneLos Angeles •16 reviews5.0Dined on 3 Jan 2025All of the dishes are great. We are a group of 4 and we ordered a bunch of as la carte dishes to share. All of the appetizers/ small plates are good. The truffle risotto taste good but the rice is a bit on the hard side. The bread and rosemary butter is divine. For the main we opted for the duck breast which our group enjoyed; however, the $110 rib eye taste just okay despite the great plating. We think there is something off with the cut of the meat. The two desserts are simple but flavorful. Overall we still feel like the restaurant deserves a 4.5 stars.More infoKaliPrice: Expensive• Californian• Hollywood•4.7
